The service team was great. The truck was very clean but had a check engine light on the dash. In addition, the gasoline intake line was leaking badly underneath the truck, just inside the port used for gas station pump nozzle. When trying to fill the gas tank at the end of my truck usage, over half of the gas I pumped spilled onto the ground. This was from a noticeable bad connection on the hose/line that goes from the gas pump intake port to the actual gas tank in the truck. I showed photos and videos of this to the U-haul service person when returning the vehicle and he was very apologetic and understood the issue without any further explanation needed. Hopefully it is an easy fix for U-haul...because the problem itself could be very dangerous if left as is.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThis turned out to be a disaster and huge inconvenience. When I picked up the vehicle and saw the tank at3/4, I just knew I would be charged for gas when I returned it. Sure enough, I was charge for 4 gallons and Uhaul claims it was half a tank which, it was not when I picked it up. The pick up was scheduled for 7am - no one was at the location when I arrived. I was delayed for over an hour which really set me entire day back. With the gas not filled, this also created one more unneccessary stop for me and expense - $250 to fill the tank. I would like someone to call me to discuss this and I will be requesting compensation for these challenges. Thank you,.
