The truck needs to be serviced. The check engine light kept coming on. Also the gas cap alert kept coming on. It wasn't the gas cap but the cap attached to a separate tank. It needs to be fixed before it's used again.Dustin W.

I reserved a uhaul twice at the same location. The first time the uhaul had bugs- roaches. they of course were grossed out and tried to find me another because they did not have one- no uhaul to be found in town or the next town. the next weekend i got a uhaul. it was clean and we both inspected it. the place was great the people were great i am upset the uhaul was so gross the first time and i could not even get through to uhaul - i guess saturdays are busy so thankfully i did not have a deadline to move out but if i had i would have been out of luck.Kelsie S.
The employee who hooked up the trailer either had no training or did not care. Chains were criss crossed and brake light pigtail was left dragging the ground. My husband called Gillis after getting it home (3 minutes from them) to report these and to report the latch and lock were very rusted and difficult to close. We also had to sweep the trailer as trash was left inside. He spoke with Will at Gillis' and asked if we could come swap it and Will said no. When my husband asked why not Will told him to call corporate and hung up. Corporate lines let me on hold for more than 30 minutes so I hung up. We did lose taillights down the highway, spent half an hour at a rest area fixing the wire that had been dragging the pavement for miles, and proceeded on. Very disappointed with the customer service and arrogance at Gillis toward a regular customer and very senior citizen.DOTTY R.

I was on hold with uhaul for around 25 minutes all together. Thankfully there was a number to contact for Saturday reservations on the door. Uhaul representative never offered to contact them or any type if discount. I was at the location for atleast an hour. When I got there my app wouldn't let me pick the truck up. The first uhaul rep fixed it to where I could pick it up online then it said that the truck wasn't ready. The location never set the truck up. So when I finally got through to the owner he sent an employee over to get me the truck and he lived 30 minutes away. Uhaul needs to hire ppl to pick a phone up, the location needs to get there stuff together. After all of this and the thousands of dollars I have spent with uhaul over the years I wasn't even offered a discount.Eric T.

I think it's ridiculous that I was allowed to have the truck for two days but turned the truck in at 4:30 pm on Sunday when it wasn't due back until Monday and I went over the allotted miles by 15 miles and was charged for that. PETTY !!!!!Roseana B.
