Don't change anything. I rent a truck twice a year, and have for a long time: moving stuff off our boat in the fall and back on in the spring. Provide clear explanation of what must be done to use the â€˜share' method of picking up a truck for the first time. I was allowed to convert my reservation to that without any registration, and then had to spend 10 minutes registering when I arrived at the location. I then had to wait 5-10 minutes in line to get the key to the truck - so the â€˜share' system really did not save me any time or hassle.Michael L.

After much confusion of where I needed to pick up a 4x8 trailer, the Brighton uhaul contacted this uhaul and they quickly put it on my car with no issues. What confusing to me is why I wasn't able to pick it up at my original location and there was no 4x8 trailer available anywhere. Vehicle had a very damaged windshield wiper blade and the parking brake stuck and squealed after releasing. It needs work. I had to tell that to staff as one one asked about the vehicle's performance or issues. Staff should be asking those types of questions. The vehicle was clean.Barry G.

The truck I rented was not clean on the inside of the cab. Food and crumbs on the floor and in the cupholder. But the service was excellent which made the stressful task of moving a little bit easier and that's more important to me.RACHEL A.
It took over an hour for us to get our van even though we were the only customers there when we checked in. The van smelled like cigarettes. The woman at the check out desk was kind, but when we asked her a few questions about the van (why it was taking so long, if the key wasn't programmed why were they giving us that van), she didn't know the answer and her supervisor rudely yelled answers to her to give to us from the small room next to her desk. We honestly felt bad for her and felt that the supervisor was acting unprofessionally, especially because we were the only ones there at the time (before it got busy).ASHLEY B.

I went into the office/retail area to complete the paperwork to pick up my truck. It was the franchise owner who was at the counter. Towards the end of the transaction, he entreated: â€œMove Safe!â€ I said â€œthank youâ€ and he told me my receipt is being sent to my email address. I went about my move, but was later surprised that he had added insurance coverage of $42 to my bill. I believe he intentionally said the words â€œmove safeâ€ in a manner to be interpreted as an entreaty so as to justify adding the charge for insurance without the customer even being aware that Move Safe is the name of the insurance coverage. I would not go back to this location again.HON C.

When I went to put fuel in the van, there was no indication of which fuel to use (it's usually marked by the fuel door or something). I was 95% sure it was gasoline, but since that would be a costly error, I had to do some digging to be sure. It would be helpful to have that labeled on the fuel door. At checkout, the agent tried to pad the bill with extra charges that I had specifically declined. At check in, the agent told me I'd get an email confirmation of the return. I waited an hour and then called to ask for the email receipt. I was told the van â€œwasn't checked in yetâ€ but I would receive it before closing time in a few hours. I didn't. I had to go back at 7am the next day and demand the receipt. They told me the van never got checked in. Overall really poor service with extra time and hassle.Robert D.
