In cold weather, make sure the back door is not iced and that it can be opened. I rent once a month for a trip to the food bank. Usually, the van is ready near the door. The new policy has me going to the parking area and folding the cardboard advertisment in the wind screen. Small change in the level of service. Unfortunately, when I got to my pickup spot, we had to work hard to release the iced latch. Two strong men could not get the door open because of ice across the length of the door. On the call to U-Haul, I was told to just kick the door (which we had already done). Returning to U-Haul, the staff needed to hammer a crow bar to break the ice! I was told that this was my responsibility. After all I left the lot with the vehicle. But I think since they work with all these vehicles, they should be more aware. I think it is a reasonable service for a customer to expect.

Using the U-Haul app takes a lot of extra time. The truck was not filled with fuel. The mileage was not correct. The truck had snow and ice on top of it which is a hazard and ended up leading to a delay in the start of my move time along with the app malfunctioning and not excepting a photograph of the original gas level and mileage odometer. Catch up I also think it is unnecessary that the return time be 10:30 PM in light of the fact that I rented my truck at 5 PM. I should At least have until 5 PM the next day if I am paying for a full day. I ended Up being double charged for the rental and the insurance because I returned the truck 45 minutes after 10:30 PM. Overall I feel that the customer service element of U-Haul is now lacking in light of its automation and lacks personal touch And a feeling of true Customer Service.

The customer service at this facility was excellent from the woman at front desk who walked us through the process to the gentleman who set us up with our Ubox. They were so helpful, pleasant, and professional. Moving is stressful, but the two employees we worked with made this experience stress-free and, actually, pleasant.

First i called to find out what was available and for assistance figuring out what kind of vehicle i needed for what i was moving. The woman on the phone would not answer my questions and told me to look up info on internet rather than giving me info. When i got there she told me she cpuldnt provide the info about type of vehicle and to go outside and talk to the guys working there. I did and there was noone there. I came in and was helped by Tom who was excellent! His customer service was outstanding. He gave me the info i needed About thpe of vehicle immediately, was efficient, helpful and got me out of there quickly.

The system works well. And all the people are competent. Everything is precalculated and explainable. The agent Tom who helped me was very friendly, happy and efficient. The only problem was with Express Check-in. You can complete all the prearranged steps but it won't save you the line half way to the door when the spot opens. Plus there's a two step, two phone number and call system, some Homeland Security requirement that also slows the process. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars. Everything was organized well.

Inspect your trucks to make sure everything works before giving it to your customers. The truck that was lend to me, died on me and didn't reverse. It was so inconvenience. On top of it, when I registered online two days ago, when I arrived they had to switch the truck because the truck that was signed to me had no gas. I had to wait for 20 mins for another truck. It was disappointing... they were no help for me when I called.

Seems some of the staff were professional and ready to serve others not so much. We walked to the counter and the (1)person behind the counter said it would be 5 to 10 minutes before helping us. There were no other customers at the counter. In the office there were 4 people carrying on. It was 2pm. With very little customer activity, there should be sufficient staff to handle service at this time. Overall, I always cringe when I have to go into the store/building. Everyone is always miserable.

Add tablets for ppl to sign in while they wait. The check in process is very long. I waited in line for a long time even with a reservation. Also, they over charged me by $50 which forced me to wait in the long line again to get a refund. Seems like the employees are entitled and comfortable in the OK customer service that's provided.

This location is an excellent example of UHAUL teamwork. From counter to equipment staff, all very courteous and professional. They have the coveted 26’ truck rental which makes moving in one trip essential. Thank you for the great rental experience. I’ll be back!!
