I requested and paid for a dozen blankets and a furniture dolly and received neither. I was contacted the day before the rental date and informed that I'd need to pick the truck up in Somerville and not Waltham.

Sadly, I am just one of many to pile on with the horrific customer service. From the owner, manager, and down. Actually, the one guy checking in my returned van was awesome. They're intimidating bullies who prey on the weakness of others to back down at their tactics. They even run a gas scam. Their charts show, accurately, the gallons needed to "fill" the tank, however, when the gauge reflects the tank being "full" at being right on the "F" line, it is already down about 4 gallons from truly full. I traveled 36 miles (no idling time while loading and unloading), virtually no traffic. Their website states the van averages 20 MPG (owner laughed at that quote when I mentioned it and said no way it gets that). When I refilled next door, it took 7.33 gallons and the arrow goes WAY above the "F" line. When I inquired about it, nothing but condescending remarks, insults, and very bad treatment.

Wasn't an issue this past trip, but sometimes a line builds up quickly and there's only one register open and it would selfishly be great to have a second person if possible. That being said; all the guys who work here are wonderful. Special shout out to Efrain. I always feel well taken care of even on occasions when the size of truck/van I was hoping for isn't available. 10 out of 10; would recommend.

With 109-110k miles the truck was in pretty rough shape. The amount of incident settled stickers on it was ridiculous. On top of that, the alignment seemed way off and the driver side mirror had been broken and then superglued back on thus preventing anyone from being able to adjust it. The customer service was good, but truck was poor.

When booking, the counter agent said it was unlikely I could get the requested 17' truck, but never suggested that 15' would be available. I had to find that out with the traffic over the phone. The wait times at the counter can sometimes be long. It might be worthwhile to have some backup people able to work the counter when it is busy. The guy who hooked up our auto transporter gave us an awful lot of attitude. Not great customer service there.

The battery stop functioning after our second stop and we had to call roadside assistance and our trip was delayed 90 mn. It looks like the light system had a malfunction and would be on or off in a totally erratic mode. We did inform the people at UHaul when giving back the truck.

Before leaving the visor had to be replaced, it was falling out of socket and blocking my view. The new one was fine until I hit a bump in road, then it fell out. It wasn't right size really. A minor issue only because my trip was short.
