Hello, I was hoping that somehow there can be additional (more obvious) notification that if a customer rents a truck using the self-service (with smart phone) then they will also need to return the truck using the self-service link in their email. Yes, this is mentioned in some fine writing, but I think it should be more obvious and up front. I didn't know to have to check my email. Thank you, Ben

The personnel at the site were very efficient and helpful. The email receipts are great to get. However, it would be good to have a note that the trailer was returned clean and that the cleaning fee was not required. I did not witness the final inspection because I was told that it would be done later in the day. I am only guessing that it was all true because the balance due was $0.

The woman who checked me in was having an incompetent few moments. Maybe usually she is more put together(?). It was a poor check-in experience. She seemed mad at me, short with her co-workers, etc. uncomfortable. Also, it’s awkward that you require the exact location of where the truck is going and wait pensively as I try to look it up on my phone to see if I can figure it out. It would be a better experience if you could at least acknowledge that this is kind of an unusual request or explain the reason why you need it while I try to search for it.

I was overcharged for Fuel, I returned with more fuel than what was in the contract. Initially I was told that the truck was full but it wasn't. I returned to tell the sales representative and he corrected it in my sheet but did not input it in the system.

These Medford U-Haul guys are crooks!! Go rent somewhere else!! They charged me $240 for a new tire. I was given an old truck and when I returned it the manager said I caused a hole in the sidewall of the tire. This is unequivocal bullshit! I drove very carefully, did not hit anything, drive over a curb, etc. Then I get my receipt and I am charged for a new tire. This is their scam way of doing repairs on their old vehicles. Call Christopher Rovendro at 781-396-3090 if this review caused you to not rent from the Medford location. I want him to know their bs charges cost him money.

Why can't the gas tank just start topped off like a rental car? Interpreting the gallons to fuel gauge reading printout and refilling to exactly the 7/8ths of a tank of gas that was in the truck to start is a pain. It would be much easier to check out full and return full.

Followed the directions for refilling the fuel on the contract to the correct level but they charged for 4 gallons missing. The claim was the truck left at 11/16 and came back at 9/16 (1/8 missing). The fuel tank only reads in 1/4 intervals so it would be reasonable that someone misread the gauge. With the gas receipt and mileage they wanted to see a picture of the dash, while not being able to provide a picture themselves when they checked it.

Uhaul is employed by rude, incompetent high school dropouts. You assholes changed my drop off location from what was on my contract after I already dropped off my trailer at the original location, and then wouldn’t honor the original contract. I was told I was going to be charged over 100 dollars for some added fee, and I had to spend hours talking to a dozen different assholes over the phone to straighten out YOUR screwup.

The windshield had a whitish smear on it that was not cleaned off when I picked up truck. Took solvent and razor blade for them to clean..about 10 minutes. I picked up truck in the morning. Had to do night driving and then saw how dirty the inside of windshield was.They should be sure windows are clean inside and out.
