Terrible service. Took us two hours to be able to get our rental truck because the system was down and the staff was very slow, unhelpful, and not being efficient when there were 5 different people trying to check in for their truck rental. I had to approach three different staff members for help with the truck rental. I also had a storage unit reservation and they called the SAME DAY of the move in to indicate that there were no storage units available. I had movers coming in that day so the same day notice was very unhelpful. While waiting two hours for the truck, a storage unit happened to opened up (after I insisted that i staff member help me find a storage unit to fulfill my reservation) but then the staff didn't want to honor the one month free storage that came with the truck rental (and advertised on the website). Overall it was a terrible experience that led to more expenses on my part and waste of time and made my move a nightmare.

Debra T. | Overall ExperienceThe online check-in is VERY glitchy. Several times, I would encounter a black screen midway through the process and would have to start at the beginning. I tried restarting my phone and did it on two different devices. I encountered the same difficulties on each device. It was a pain in the neck!!! At the very least, the app should have a “save and continue” option. Then, when I got to the facility, the worker was very unfriendly and curt with me. I finally had success with the online check-in. Other customers were also having difficulty with the app. It was not just me. The only employees who were truly friendly were the non-english speaking workers who were painting and cleaning the facility. When I said above that I would recommend to a friend, I only say that because Uhaul seems to be “the only game in town”. I am hoping that we have a better experience when we pick up our stuff in August.

hector r. | Overall ExperienceI got a room with a pipe in the middle which made me lose room. Also where I got my storage has stairs so was hard to put my stuff in there since I needed to go up the stairs because of this I couldn't put my couch so I had to rent a storage in another company .
Jessica C. | Overall ExperienceFloor 5 was initially very poorly lit but improvements were made over the years I was there. The reason I left UHaul is that when I got to my unit 2 weeks ago, there was a disc lock placed upside down on my door and my key did not fit. I knew that I did not place the lock in this fashion and was very concerned that someone had gotten into my unit. When I went to the office, the staff person seemed very perplexed and did not know how to help. When I returned later, 2 other employees had no idea what was going on. I asked for a manager and Alanna found that there was a set of keys in an envelope with my name on it and the likely explanation was my lock was cut by mistake for to a recent auction. She said she works confirm this w a phone call to me the next day as none of this was communicated to me at any time. I never did get a follow up call from her either. I was left with a lot of worry as to how this happened. I was a good customer since 2016 and have moved out as of yesterday.

Rock E. | Overall ExperienceThe desk people where rude and not helpful- I had to go back 2 times because she gave me a unit with stairs- I could fine the unit- did t know how to accesses- went back to Chang to one without stairs- improvement the unit and the was a big mouse trap/bate I side and a huge to d pile taking up the corner space - so it really is not an 8 by 8 space I paid for- I was so frustrated after an hour and half I put my things in and left- horrible experience from start to finish- I’m going back to complain about the storage unit i was given- I’m Kind of easy going person and not easily aggravated- but the attitude and poor guidance was infuriating- with the price for a sucky storage unit on third floor-
