I rented a truck, found a location that showed one available and reserved it. I had a confirmation number but when I showed up, the place said they were closed. I had signed up to pick up using my phone so I said no problem, just show me the truck. They said they didn’t have one and when they closed they cancelled my reservation. I had an appointment to pick up furniture I needed to get but instead I was scrambling to find a truck that was available at 5:00pm in rush hour traffic. An hour later I found one but no furniture dolly to move with. The guy at the first location was very apologetic and said he tried to call, but this was hours later, long after the reservation was made. So beware of the app, because it’s confirmed doesn’t mean anything

Never going to used this location again
DIEGO AAlways the best place to rent a U-Haul!
Paul SI'm a little upset that my reservation wasn't ready on Friday 6/5. The customer hadn't returned it yet and I was left without a trailer. I had planned my entire weekend around having it so it was very inconvenient to not have it, which is why is reserved it. Some sort of compensation would be nice. I enjoy the Soquel Valero location very much as he is very polite and helpful. I will be needing another trailer on 6/21 and I hope that my reservation will hold up this time.
