Office was closed when I arrived and I was expected to unhook the U-Haul by myself.
TORI TThe pickup location was great and convenient to my home. BUT, one of the security chains on the dolly had no hook on the end. I could not use it to secure the dollied vehicle and had to improvise by adding my own chain and bungee cord to secure the security chain and secure the dollied vehicle. Without a hook on the end, the security chain was a loose swinging tag end. Can't secure the dollied vehicle with a loose chain and can't drive without securing it somehow. The situation caused unneeded stress and loss of valuable time when getting ready to depart. Come on U-Haul, make sure the product is ready for use before pickup.
Beverly CSomeone signed my name to the contract remotely without my permission. I did not sign any contract either digitally or on paper. The amount charged to me for the rental was not what was originally quoted for my initial trailer reservation and Uhaul has not stood by their quoting. I barely even met with anyone from this Uhaul location and that was only to assist in hooking up the trailer.
