The gas station employee at the pickup location had NO idea what to do. She just checked my ID and gave me the keys. She cared more about the people behind me that were buying stuff from the store. I signed nothing. She didn't tell me that I had to fill out any paperwork, take pictures, etc. NOTHING. The truck was great(!), but everything else was not good. I got a call from U-Haul 2 hours after my pick-up time asking why I was late picking up the truck, which I already had, and by then I had already had the truck for two hours and were half-way loaded! So in the future I guess I'm gonna be more careful and pick up any U-Haul from an actual U-Haul location - not some random corner gas station.
