The whole truck rental process was a nightmare from start to finish. When I arrived on time to pick up my truck, I had to wait at least half an hour outside in the cold for the guy to get off a phone call to help me. Apparently the system was down and we had to redo my whole truck rental even though I had reserved it online weeks beforehand. I only needed to use the truck for one afternoon to move a few boxes out of storage with a roundtrip of less than 20 miles. I was quoted roughly $50. I turned the truck in earlier than expected but had to leave the key in the dropbox and that was the end.. or so I thought. A month later I get a notification that I had been charged almost $600 because Uhaul claimed I had put 589 miles on the truck. Unfortunately for them I took photos of everything with geotags. The manager claimed I won't be charged the additional amount but I'm not confident. Document everything when you rent a truck at this place. You could get scammed like I did.
