All self service! Audacity to charge me extra, claiming return was “late” on Sunday drop off after told drop anytime on Sunday. I could’ve dropped earlier. Will not use UHaul on future moves.

They told me the floor was wet because they’d mopped because someone had spilled something in there. Over the next hour, the stench had become so unbearable I wouldn’t put most of my stuff in it. Called and asked them to bring me a new truck (it was that bad). They said no. It smelled like someone was moving a body. When I dropped it off and asked them to come with me to verify the smell, they said they were aware of it all along, and that a guy had used it to haul crawfish, and the guy had done it numerous times, and that they had warned him not to do it or they wouldn’t rent to him again. It’s two days later and we’re on about our 20th trip in a pickup truck to get all the clothes and things we didn’t want to smell like rotting crawfish. No discount offered. No refund offered. We’re furious with uhaul. They’d always been trustworthy and a no-brainer for a move. Not any more.

MARION LWhile the “equipment” was clean. The truck is not properly water sealed. Because of this moving became a bit more difficult as water was pouring in from the top of the drivers side. This leak was in the storage space. Could’ve caused a lot more damage if I wasn’t moving at that time. This needs to be fixed for the next person. Office staff were very helpful!
Garrison VReturn truck on a holiday when the office was closed. Gave keys to attendee and let. Received invoice 24 hours later and charged for expenses we did not occurred.
