I did not return the truck afterhours. Only used the truck for an hour 2 hours max and returned it before 1. Im getting charged extra for no reason!

How U-Haul Reviews WorkLong post. Definitely take pics/ videos. Outside, inside, mileage, windshield, EVERYTHING!!! Good customer service, however, my spidey senses told me to wait until it was inspected at drop off. This is a gas station, mind you. I tppped off the gas and returned the truck. The guy said thanks and that he would email the receipt. I almost walked away but I was self persuaded not to and asked the have the truck inspected. Thankfully I did, because the guy said I was going to be charged a gas fee! I had just replenished the gas! He said it had more gas in it! I refuted and showed him the contract, he then agreed. He then pointed at a chip in the windshield, which I again said, I have a picture of that as well and an audio recording of me stating the truck was difficult to put into Drive from Reverse without going to back to Park 1st. I asked for him to confirm mileage and email the receipt right then. Whew! If I had just walked away there is no telling what additional charges would have been on my receipt! I wonder if they get to keep gas surcharges and damage costs! Overall the truck performed as expected but I would steer clear of this location or use Penske or Home Depot instead. If you choose this location, please take pics and videos and do your pre and post inspection with the rep and get your receipt immediately before leaving. You may thank me later.
