Equipment was good but customer service overall was bad when I pick up equipment the assistant was helpful. Customer service overall was bad nobody helped me when I return with the equipment and manager was rude I was going to rent the equipment next week but I'm going to look elsewhere

As usual U Haul provides a good product at a very fair price. The personnel at this ovation was knowledgeable and friendly enough. But today, like in the past that I've been to UHaul the staff is spread to thin with a lot of responsibility which results in customer frustration and longer than average wait times. Hope this helps

I went to rent a box truck and had a horrible experience with the general manager James Poitras who assisted me with this transaction. This was not my first time renting from this site but this was the worst one. When I approached and requested the required vehicle he told me that there were none available. I looked and saw that there was one out front and inquired about it. He reported that this truck was already reserved and he could not rent it out to me. Other vehicles that I suggested were also "reserved". I went outside and from my vehicle I called to reserve another one and miraculously there was one available. I went back in and waited in line when I witnessed this same manager serving another client who was inquiring of the same vehicle I had asked about earlier. He immediately told him that it was reserved but then looked further into the matter and said that the person who reserved it was not there and late therefore he could rent out the vehicle to him. I was astonished at this and inquired about it to James Poitras to which he responded that suddenly other vehicles had become available but he was renting out the same cargo van that I had inquired about only five minutes prior. He neglected to offer it to me at any point and made no efforts to mask his discriminatory behavior. Now the difference between myself and the other customer was very evident as I am an African American man and the other customer was caucasian. I became infuriated but maintained my composure at both instances of clear cut discriminatory behavior by this manager. I would therefore not recommend this site and would prefer if some action was taken to educate this person on corporate customer service that is just to all people despite his own ignorant racist feelings. He is representing a national company and I believe that he is a shameful employee to bare the name of general manager for this company. He clearly does not share the same values and feels free to impose his own beliefs on the way that the company conducts business. I sure hope that this matter is taken into investigation and serious consideration for investigation to rectify the matter so that myself or others won't be subject to this kind of behavior. I certainly have cause and determination if needed to process the matter, but this is not my cause unless I see that this matter is not being taken seriously. James Poitras is clearly racist and discriminatory in his service and I am sure that he will only bring shame and possible legal action to the company.

It was the first weekend of the month, so there were a lot of people moving. There was only one person working there at 9:30 am and a very long line of people waiting for trucks. Someone said they had been waiting for nearly an hour. Poor guy working there was by himself trying to accommodate everyone. More employees scheduled during busy times would have really improved everyone's experience.

I did not drop the truck off the end of the move. My movers did. I only picked up the truck with the movers . When you order on line they should inform you that it cost you extra for pads and etc.

Have another service associate working the front of the store. I had an appointment for 8am (I was moving that day) and I had to sit there and watch the service associate dick around with another customer for 25 minuets when I had an appointment. Don't swear in front of customers either! It isn't very professional..

First of all, I've rented trucks from here for as long as I remember whenever anyone moved and it's always been a great experience until now. Unfortunately the terrible service came on a day of record breaking cold and wind chill. The renting process was fine (minus the fact that the two people working there seemed to roll out of bed from a night of parting). I took the keys and walked out to the truck on the side of the building. I tried unlocking the truck with the two keys several times to no avail. I went back in and asked where the truck was exactly and the woman told me it was down the hill. I went down the hill and there were at least 10 trucks to choose from and remember it was freezing. I decided to walk back in and ask that they bring the truck up. The guy said he'd be going back anyway and would show us where the truck was so we went around back and continued to wait in the freezing cold. He finally came out to help someone else but stopped so he could light a cigarette first. He started helping the other gentleman while which was fine but could have at least pointed to the truck. I asked him which one it was and he said he'd be right with us because he wasn't sure. After waiting another 7 minutes, he finally brought us down to the truck and it was completely dead. So an hour from the time I walked in the door to pick up the truck I had rented online, we were off to move my mom. I wasn't surprised when I got a call from customer service the next day inquiring where the truck was because I was supposed to drop it off that same day (Sunday.) Well we went in to drop it off and the same gentleman was there and told us he was closed and to put the keys in the drop box. This was the worst customer service we've ever received with Uhaul. I can't believe they didn't have the truck ready. Every time I've ever rented there everything was all ready to go. I'm completely disappointed.
