I rented a pickup truck for a couple hours and unfortunately had a mishap and damaged the tailgate. I called my insurance company who took the info and said I was covered no problem, advised me to return the truck and they would take care of everything, great! When I returned the truck mind you after just being involved in an accident, the boy at the counter was visibly angry and huffing and puffing when I told him about the incident and that I already filed a claim with my insurance company. He was rude, angry and very much unprofessional and threatened me with court etc...Never again Uhaul will I rent from you again I will be posting the encounter on social media.WILLIAM L.
Vehicle had asphalt pieces in bed of truck when I rented it, smelled of smoke and had tobacco remnants inside that I took images of and provided to U-Haul when I picked up rental. There was a rip that looked like a wild animal tried to get out of cabin of truck behind driver side, and the vehicle ran rough, w light on requiring oil be changed soon.Elana G.

My reservation was changed - had to go to a location which was over 35 minutes away (one way) - twice, second time to drop the trailer off. I was requested to arrive early as my Pickup time was close to closing time on weekend - I arrive 20 minutes early , and they changed my pickup time again. The trailer vehicle wheel straps were in rough shape but most importantly the ratchet mechanism was so rusty, injured my right thumb. This one is my fault as I was not wearing gloves, which I put on thereafter. This experience was suboptimal.HASSAN Q.

I can't believe how poor your customer service is. I booked everything online how the reservation I went to the shop to pick up the truck the online wasn't even working. I went inside and waited a while there was no workers inside, there was another couple in there that was having the same issue they said they were there for 40 minutes. I had to redo everything through the reservation which makes no sense because I had a copy of it and then I got in this truck that was just a big piece of crap. Also the gas was logged in correctly and I wasn't even able to fix it so I just paid it.NICOLE A.
