When someone makes reservations at a certain location. U-Haul has NO RIGHT to change pick up or drop off site.

The trailers left turn signal light and left brake light did not work when i picked up the trailer. The dealer couldn't repair it, and sent me on my way with a U-Haul service number to call, putting me at risk of a traffic ticket on my 400 mile journey home.

It was great and mike was super helpful!

The gas gage was screwed up, and was not right. Cost double one way, than the other. Same miles one way as the other way.

I called my insurance well before I rented a vehicle to move my daughter to Florida. I specifically asked if I needed to carry U-Haul insurance or if I was covered. My agent assured me that no further insurance was need, that I was covered. A few days before I picked up my rental, I made sure that the rental was going to be ready and confirmed the price without insurance (with U-Haul corporate number). I show up the day of my rental and all was going well until he stared to run my card and I stopped him and asked what was the total before he ran it. I didn’t get the man’s name; I wish I had so I could direct my frustration at a specific person (you know who you are). The price he quoted me was about 150 dollars more than what I was just quoted a few days earlier. I asked him to itemize the charges for me and low and behold the insurance had been tacked back on without my consent! I told him that my insurance agent had told me not to get the insurance and I didn’t want it. OMG, you would have thought I just plucked a sucker right out of his newborn babies’ mouth. Mr. U-Haul then could not “find” the discount that he said I could use, and that if there was ANY damage to the truck when I turned it in, I would be responsible for it. Mr. U-Haul stated “you better go over it and mark any damage, because if it not marked you will be charged”. I definitely got the feeling that if there wasn’t a sticker on every miniscule mark, U-Haul was going to charge me, weather I did it or not. I am a very conscientious person, and take responsibility for anything that I do. When I say he was pushy about the insurance I don’t mean he was trying to make a sale, I mean it was his way or the highway! I felt bullied into the insurance even though I knew I didn’t need it. I truly felt that if I didn’t get his insurance, I would be paying for damage weather I did it or not. P.S. he was pounding on the rear door with a hammer because it was froze shut. I will definitely not use this U-Haul station again. That was my only complaint about my whole experience! Good equipment, easy towing, easy drop off, bullied into insurance!

Mike was awesome, very polite.

No personal people attributes, could not find a gas station on way to drop off from storage unit where we off loaded. Man kept telling me I should have put gas in unit. I payed 20.00 to him to correct the difference but he kept scolding me about the shortage. I felt that I had made every effort to correct the shortage which incidentally amounted to less than an eight of a tank. I am certainly pleased that other locations have people who know how to talk to the public
