I had an absolute horrible experience renting a truck. I prepaid to reserve a truck to pick up furniture an hour away from my home. When we got to the location, I received an error message stating, "Looks like a piece of equipment has not been assigned for this reservation. Please contact the number below for assistance." What is the point of paying for a reservation if nothing is reserved??? Then I was left on hold at that number for over 45 minutes!! We eventually had to look up a different number, where we were on hold for 15 minutes before someone answered. When we finally spoke with someone, we were told to travel to a completely different UHaul location in an unfamiliar city to pick up a truck. When we got to that location, I received another error message in the app and had to call customer service again. Again we endured a long wait time. The customer service rep ended up having to make a new reservation for us. Then we had to wait another half hour while they verified my information. By the time we finally got a truck, we were extremely late for our furniture pickup appointment and ended up having to meet the person at an entirely different location AND pay a late fee! To add further insult to injury, I was charged an extra $72 for extra mileage, when if I had been able to pick up the truck at the location I first reserved and go to my appointment at the planned location, there would have been no extra mileage! I will never use this service again! It was a complete nightmare from start to finish!

COURTNEY CPlease note that customer have to actually pull truck out of parking space to capture pictures. Also it took several attempts before the pictures actually uploaded.
