How U-Haul Reviews WorkThis was a terrible experience. The location carried next to no equipment. The hitch ball that we had purchased ahead of time (from a different U-Haul location) was too high, and they had no draw bars or anything else with which to correct the situation and the staff member just kept saying it was fine. The ball was too high and so the tail dragged so the rear of the trailer kept scraping on the ground. We were driving from Toronto to Edmonton, and I am sure that this instability contributed towards the damage of two antique tables in our load. There were no other supplies, so it was not possible to buy a lock or any restraining straps. We had ordered 12 moving blankets, but they only gave us 6. We only realized how unhelpful the staff were and how badly equipped this location was when we arrive in Edmonton, which had a large and clean facility, equipped with everything you might need. The staff were helpful, and there is no way they would have let us drive off with an unbalanced trailer.
Frances PVan was not clean. Arrival of staff was 1.5 hous late after 10am opening on Sunday. Late arrival made customers upset bc they had allotted time to do work and work was not completed as expected due to lateness

JEIMY TEnsure the truck bed is swept out. The engine seemed to rev high and loud when started and the steering wheel was worn down and gummy. Power windows and locks would have been helpful.
