Difficult parking, place looked shut down, no one was around at 11:30 on a Monday morning. My wife followed in our car. She says she would not have returned the truck to this location alone.
JEFFREY KI dropped two trucks off here. I already submitted a review for this place. This one should be disregarded.
Kevin KI'd prefer not to submit a review for this location, as I never dealt with a person here. I don't want to hurt his reputation, but I have to be honest. Nobody was there when I dropped off the trucks, and the self-serve option doesn't seem to work well with my phone. Not sure why. I'll admit, it might be user error, but I'm not completely incompetent with tech. Is it the business owner's fault that U-Haul tech wasn't cooperative? No. But if he had been present during normal business hours, I at least could have dealt with a person instead of a computer. Thankfully, a phone call to U-Haul solved the problem, but it wasn't as quick or easy as if a person had been present.
KEVIN KWe were supposed to pick up a truck and auto hauler in Osage Beach. The day before our pick up, we received a call saying we had to go to Versailles to pick up (1 hour away). We got there at 10:30 a.m., as we were told they open at 10 a.m. (we were supposed to pick up at 9 a.m. in Osage Beach). No one was there. We had to call a number taped to the window several times before the gentleman answered then finally came. At 11 a.m., we discover he has the truck, but not the auto hauler. For that, we have to go TWO hours away, Dixon, to get that. So now we spent 5 hours of our day we were supposed to be moving just driving around to pick up the truck and auto hauler. In exchange, the gal the Versailles gentleman called gave us a measly $50 off, which barely covered the extra gas we used driving all over. And didn't even come close to the TWO extra hours we had to pay the movers, as they sat and did nothing, waiting for the truck to arrive.
