Man was rude and unwilling to accommodate. He didn't have a truck with a ramp. And said if I wanted a ramp I had get a bigger truck. When all he had to do was send me to a different location. I will not use that location again.

The guy working Saturday told us he did a walk through to make sure everything was secure and lights were working. He did it while I ran to the bank. Before signing the papers, I asked him if he really did it and he replied (as if I as stupid) "Yes". My husband drives the ruck out of the yard and we get it to our location. As soon as we went to load our truck onto the back of the U-Haul trailer, the entire trailer pops off, because he didn't even secure it. Literally he just sat it on the hitch. I'm glad the situation wasn't worse, I can easily see how that could have became "the customer's fault," do your walk threw with them!

The people and facility was nice. However the equipment rented to us was substandard. We did not realize how bad it was until we dropped off. We rented a car tow--the straps were very worn, the lights-one was working at 40% the other at 50%. And unbeknownst to us, the tires had significant rot. Luckily we arrived at our destination safely. I didn't realize UHaul rented substandard equipment just in the name of the almighty dollar.

I made a reservation at the Barstow location and the next day I was told they couldn't get a truck. This is what brought me to this other location. I'm glad I did. Better service even though they could have pulled the truck out of its parked spot. It was parked in a tricky spot.

Nobody was at UHaul location 8am which was my scheduled pickup time. When worker finally arrived, I found out key was in the UHaul, but none of my supplies were in the back. I would have left without it. He was a nice guy and ended up accommodating me, but would not recommend or recommend. Requesting $50 refund.

I spent an hour plus trying to get equipment i had on reservation ,the place was unorganized! Smelled really bad because of giant bird droppings. Was given the wrong truck , was told the truck had a full tank . It had a half tank when i got in it . Spent another hour trying to explain it and return the truck !terrible experience ! Never going there again !

All local personnel have been helpful and knowledgeable. Reservations by phone have been very erratic and changeable. Was told three different locations for pickup and still had to pick up tow dolly at a fourth. The delay made it necessary to stay overnight in Victorville which was about $100 in additional expense as well as lost time. Truck performed well.

When dropping off the truck at this location,I was a little concerned that I was charged extra (4 cents), yes its petty, but because I had to go around the block due to traffic conditions was unavoidable. There should be some lead way when dropping off a truck when the mileage is counted when the truck was dropped off. I will never use Uhaul again if this is the new "normal" that I am "nickel and dimed" over everything.
