I rented a van and got there 10 minutes before my appointment time, the service counter guy said the van won’t be here in time. I really only needed a van and I asked about the warranty for not having truck in time and he said he had no idea and that I needed to call uhaul corporate. He wouldn’t and couldn’t help me. So not only did I have to use a huge truck for 5 bags and some small items, the gas it cost was much more as well. I use haul every time, I’m considering other services due to the inability to keep the warranty guarantee. I’m very unhappy and extremely disappointed. I never got a call from uhaul concerning why my vehicle was switched either.

CEF IWhile the vehicle was clear of dirt, it had a horrible cigarette smell. Not just a lingering smoke, but it smelled of an ashtray. There is a no smoking sticker on the vehicle window.I don’t had to ride with the windows open the entire time I rented the vehicle. Unacceptable.
Thomas TUhail needs to do a better job when the system is down with informing vendors. I waited for 30 minutes for the system to be back online. The rep was very nice and could only do so much. Next time for the inconvenience, a discount should be applied
