I reserved a 26-foot truck in advance---over a week in advance. When I arrived to pick up the truck, there was not a 26-foot truck available. It was due back on Friday, September 4th. I was picking up the truck on a late Sunday afternoon: 4:00 pm. If the truck was not back, then I should have been contacted and directed to another U-haul location that had a 26-foot truck. I ended up with a 15-foot truck, but needed to make extra trips to move all of the items that needed to be moved. They were helpful in at least helping me get a 15-foot truck, but it is still not good business practice to "promise" a 26-foot and end up with a 15 foot truck.
