I was told I could return my truck to Santa Monica and when I called Santa Monica to find out their after hours policy, they told me I couldn’t return my truck there. I then called Uhaul service line and they told me I needed to return the truck all the way across town After a 15 hour Moving day. Other than that, my experience was good but that last change in plans after I had specifically requested the Santa Monica drop off and told I could take it there was very difficult.
ELISSA TTruck was leaking gas. Called Vista Truck Rental, was told nothing they can do. Before I left with UHAUL truck I was told they check their trucks every Monday i.e. maintenance is being performed. Apparently not. Filed a claim with UHAUL This was a long distance move from CA to AZ.
