Lower the price or include extra miles from U-Haul to U-Haul. Had to purchase 30 extra miles because you only allot from U-Haul to U-Haul in miles. Penske was cheaper for a bigger truck will use them next time. This review is not location specific.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe lock box lock is not easy to open.
David MI scheduled my U-Haul pickup in advance, but the staff member at the desk made the experience really uncomfortable. While processing my rental, she pushed hard for me to buy the $15 additional insurance. When I hesitated, she started going on and on about her granddaughter talking about their race, hair texture, and appearance in ways that felt inappropriate and out of place. She kept comparing one granddaughter's "course hair" to another's "straight hair" and commenting on their skin color. She also kept mentioning being a mother while continuing to push the insurance. She also told me to move my vehicle out of the handicap parking spot where I had legitimately parked (with a handicap emblem in the window) and move it to the back of the parking lot. Her reason was that "Big Darrell" would be upset if we parked there. Throughout all this, I just sat there in silence because I was uncomfortable. The aggressive sales pitch, the inappropriate personal comments, and making me move out of a handicap spot I was allowed to use raised real concerns about how this facility operates. I completed the rental, but I wouldn't go back and I think this facility needs to do better with staff training.
