The guy at front counter was super nice. The guy who was there when I dropped off my vehicle (I think his name was Abdul or something similar) was really amazing. Was laughing and put me in a good mood after a really tough day. Thank you

When you call customer service the information given is completely different than what the location has available in storage units.

Better signage would make this location even better. It was quite confusing figuring out where to return the truck, as the signs directing customers were not easily visible as we approached the building. On the bright side, the process for returning the truck was very efficient and I was pleased with that service.

Everyone was super friendly. Had an issue with fuses on my truck and they introduced me to the mechanic across the street that fixed it right away. Cheap too. Really impressed with the location. The gentleman outside helping move equipment around had a great attitude.

I made reservations online. It was simple and easy! I even changed my reservation a day before my original date and was accommodated. However, I was not informed that the truck would not be available at my preferred location on my reservation. Therefore, I headed to the incorrect location and had to be rerouted to another location. It could have been because of my reservation change. Minor miscommunication, but my suggestion would be to keep the customer informed about location changes. Thanks!

I was quoted $1.29 per mile, but the District rate was $1.59. This ended up costing me a fair bit of money about which I was not pleased. The representative said only the home office could override this.

It was one of my best experience. Quick and fast what I wanted they didn't waste any time during handing over the truck and getting it back and reliable.

I wish that I was given the smaller, retro van versus the traditional van as requested with my reservation. Otherwise, good service.

This was my worst customer experience in a long time. I had called a few days earlier to reserve a truck that I would pick up in the afternoon on the designated day. I got a confirming email from U-Haul with the reservation and the location. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. I had to ask why as no reason was given. Your rep didn’t know why, but said my reservation had been moved to another location. He also said the reservation was for a morning pickup (something I had specifically said I could not do when I made the reservation). I had to take a cab there, increasing my cost of this whole thing. Also, I asked them to make sure there was an actual truck at that location before I went over there. I then stood at the counter (to the side so that other customers could be served), and waiting for an answer. After about 10 minutes, I asked for an update and he said, “Yes” — he clearly knew the whole time and just didn’t pay any attention to my standing there. The whole point of my arriving around 2:30 PM was to get the truck, load it, and be able to leave DC before rush hour. This trashed that whole plan. Nobody at this location seemed to care at all about any of this. I trashed you guys on Twitter and your bot said they would “start a review,” but i’ll Believe it when I see it.

This was A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! 1) I was maybe 30 mins late, I rented the van from 4pm until 10pm, I arrived around 4:30pm to start the online check-in. 2) During my check-in, they had me keep taking photos, sending photos, etc, etc... because the van was in a dark alley. I couldn't get good pics, though I thought they were plenty good enough. I also have a past record and a profile with you, it should be so hard. 3) Finally I was approved, but then the woman in the UHaul place CANCELLED my reservation, so I was told to go inside after 20 minutes of dealing with the online check-in (even the woman from the system called me to say I was good to go). 4) Then I got inside and 3 employees were huddled around talking and I had to ask to get attention, I was the only customer. The woman helping me didn't seem like she could care less about my situation or my pick-up. 5) Finally, they put me into the system to pick up my van, and she messed something up, and I had to go through it all again. 6) Then FINALLY again, they got me a van, only to find out there are "no more vans you can rent", what a load of BS. There were AT LEAST 6 vans on the side of the warehouse for pick-up, and I was only picking up until 10pm that same day, no way every van was going to leave after 5pm on Sunday. 7) Finally because they were closing and the woman wanted to leave (all colleagues left her already), she found an "expedited" way to help me and gave me a van from the lot. Anyway, this was ridiculous, shouldn't be this hard.
