The folks at the pick-up facility tried very hard to complete the transaction, they were patient and apologetic. However, the computer system that UHaul uses is very confusing and unreliable. It took almost 1 hour to complete a transaction that should take 5 minutes. The messages sent to my cell phone from Uhaul contained links for me to respond. EVERY time I used the links a message appeared showing the system was not available and I should try later. This in NOT something I can respond to while I'm traveling down the road with a piece of equipment that requires my attention. Eventually the message stated my time had expired to reply. When I brought my UHaul rental to the designated drop-off location they were not aware that I was dropping off the equipment. They were not familiar with the process for a drop off. I was told to "just park it over there and UHaul will automatically be notified by the App on your phone". I tried several ways to report to UHaul that I had dropped off the equipment at the designated drop-off point and requested confirmation from UHaul. The reply did not come until the following day. My impression is that UHaul puts most of the responsibility for a rental on the customer. This is not what I expected. It was very disappointing.

Bryan WTruck assigned wasn’t available when I arrived. Thankfully someone was working on a Sunday and they gave me another one. If they weren’t I would be in big trouble. After that though everything went smoothly.
PETER SI went to this location twice and each time was treated like a valued customer, each time i had a different person and both of them recommended the same practice to be sure and pack heavier items up front. I thought that was solid for a uhaul franchise.
