I did not get a chance to fill up the U-HAUL with gas before the end of the day and had to have U-HAUL fill up for me. I was told that U-HAUL charges $4/gallon for gas used, which I was OK with. However, based on 10 mpg (which is what I am seeing a 17 foot U-HAUL truck should get), you charged me $7.64/gallon. I found this to be totally unacceptable. It tainted an otherwise great experience.
As for me the location was perfect and the staff very, very nice to work with. I would definitely use this location again.

I chose the online option because I thought it would be easier, it was not. The process was tedidious and much more time consuming than the normal check in. The truck was dirty, the check engine light was on and the suspension was wonky.

The truck was dirty when we picked up. If we are expected to return it clean, we should receive it clean. We had to sweep it first before getting anything in there. It was full of dirt all around. Unacceptable.

I had to sweep out the truck as it was not cleaned from the previous use. If it is to be cleaned out or a charge occurs, then it should be cleaned upon arrival and it wasn't. Otherwise the experience was great. I think that customers of this facility should get a discounted rate, especially loyal customers. The fact I didn't receive any type of discount was disappointing.

I had a problem with reserving the truck online. When filling out the reservation, it stuck at 2 of 3., so I started over. After the third time, I checked my email to find out I had reserved 3 trucks. I then had to cancel 2. It should state that the reservation was complete instead of it being 2 of 3 pages.

When we got there we were given a truck that was smaller than we requested. This then made us have to complete two trips instead of one which doubled our mileage and cost with the movers. Extremely upset and unhappy with uhaul.

When we arrived at Westerville Mini Storage to pick up our already reserved U-Haul there was a sign in the door that the power was out. There was power in the building so I assume they meant their systems were down, either way there were several customer waiting. Now I completely understand a wait due to the situation, we arrived at 1 when our appointment was to pick up the reserved 10 ft. U-Haul. The girl behind the desk advised she could only help those with reservations due to the outage, my self and another gentlemen raised our hands and advised we both had reservations. As she took care of the other customer a young lady that was waiting said, well I'll just get online right now and make a reservation. In which I thought no biggie ours was for 1 pm so we would for sure be taken care of before someone who just placed a reservation. Well I was completely wrong! She helped the young lady before us having trouble finding the reservation, I'm guessing because she had just made it 2 minutes before being helped. The customer told the cashier I got a confirmation number for a 2:00 reservation. By this time it was 1:30, again I reserved the truck the day before for 1 because the website said it would cut my wait time in half. It did not! Anyways in the meantime, after another worker came out to assist and the lady at the front desk got on the phone to get some help with this person's reservations we were just standing there waiting. Again I get a wait time due to outages, but this was ridiculous due to the fact we already had our reservation and the cashier knew this. Not one time did she acknowledge that we were standing there or apologize for the wait or even let us know that she would be right with us. She continued to help the lady who's reservation was not until 2, who by the way was not able to rent the truck after all was said and done. Once the other customers left I gave her some constructive feedback about our experience, she did not take it well and just said with the power out it makes it frustrating. Which I in return agreed with her and told her I understood but when people make reservations she really should help them in the order of the reservation or what good does it to have a reservation. She did not have a response. I would suggest making sure the companies U-Haul is contracted with to rent out their vehicles, do some training on customer experience. If she would have handled the situation differently this email would have been praising her doing doing her job well during a difficult time.
