Absolutely horrible. NO ONE was there (close/locked door). We were responsible for detaching the trailer (I have a bad back). They had instructions posted for how to drop off the equipment which as all online. The only issue was…this was located in the middle of nowhere, so cellular connection was horrible. We almost weren’t able to complete it. It took MUCH longer to complete because of this (many page refreshes, going back, unexplained deleted forms for some reason). Just overall BAD EXPERIENCE. The area was desolate, old and run down. Not inviting. The looks actually scared my younger son. He wouldn’t even get out of the car at first. Frustrating experience to say the least. I would recommend U-Haul inspect this location and consider changing to a different location.

Konnie PIf you have a set appointment or something to do right after renting a truck, expect to spend extra 20-30 mins for checking in or out on weekends. The office is closed on weekends. The U-haul truck was not maintained properly, low air pressure when I rented and bugged me a whole time, very noisy and rattling doors… Recommend a place where you can actually talk to rep.
Krishina CI wanted a pickup in Mount Airy - 10 minutes from my house. I got switched to this location 25 minutes from my house. It’s frustrating when you’re paying for mileage. The low tire pressure alert was on. I was told that it was fine however, how do you know if there is low pressure if the alert is on constantly?
