Abena AI switched to mobile pickup and the process was simple. The photo required caused me to block the driveway that is used for other businesses. The operator of the location was courteous and granted me a fuel credit since the vehicle was low on fuel
Cleveland EAbsolutely one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. This location is disorganized, misleading, and dishonest. Daniel, the owner, initially came off helpful and personally approved $1.00 per mile instead of the $1.30 rate. I agreed to rent the truck based on his word. After that, it was a mess. I was charged $30 for the rental even though the truck was clearly advertised as $19.99. That already feels like bait-and-switch pricing. Then I noticed something even more alarming — my rental was still active hours after I had already returned the truck. When I called, one of the employees admitted they never checked the truck back in because they were too busy. That level of incompetence is unacceptable. Customers should not risk being overcharged because employees can’t do their jobs. The worst part? When I questioned the mileage rate, I was told that Daniel is now denying he ever approved the $1-per-mile deal. That is flat-out false. I spoke to him directly, and he absolutely agreed to it. Watching the owner backtrack and deny his own word once billing issues came up was extremely concerning. Between the false advertising, careless handling of rentals, and the owner denying agreements, this place cannot be trusted. If you rent here, expect to babysit your bill and fight incorrect charges. Save yourself the headache and go to a different U-Haul location.
HARRIS SCustomer service was poor kid on the computer watching soccer and trying to attend customers. Called before coming out asked if they had the trailer said it was the only one not covered in snow I came and picked it up was blocked by a car they didn’t know who’s it was wasted another 30 min trying to move the trailer around the parked car finally moved it when hooked trailer to truck trailer was missing extension to wiring kid called boss she said I had to buy when I mentioned I’ve rented many times before and never had to they found one for me. Transaction took well over an hour.
