We found having to do the sign out and return process wasn’t very good. The lady at the counter was not helpful when we asked for help. We didn’t realize you had to do it yourself and she indicated that she couldn’t help us sign out the rental. We asked for help and she said it’s not my job and didn’t offer any assistance. We had rented another truck from Langley the week before and they helped us with the process and were so helpful.

Horrible experience beginning to end. From Reservation on the 1st day to pickup. Nothing but mistakes on U-Haul's part. Everything from not having what I reserved to for some reason a cancelled reservation by U haul 2.5 hrs prior to pickup etc. Also no rep called me the day prior to confirm reservation. I want the $50 promised by guarantee back!!!!! BTW thx to Uhaul's screw up my bed was destroyed in the move.

I have used this location many times previously, was always 5* but today was definitely not one of those times. Very slow service, and having to use a program not working properly.

When I booked my uhaul trailer I specified the drop off location which was less than 1 mile from where I was going. When I got there they said Uhaul had changed the drop off and I would have to go to the Matsqui Place location which was on the other side of the city, about 1 hour out of my way. The location was hard to find and it seemed like a real chore to get served.

Do not like the online process. It took too long and I had to restart a couple of times. When I needed to find out how much I needed to refill, I was unable to find the 'gauge so had to guesstimate. The lady there was very helpful, however, what if there was nobody there? Was not too impressed. Thanks

Yeah it would’ve been nice to actually been given a receipt for the boxes we bought 8 medium boxes in total from Uhaul when we rented the truck and didn’t end up using the boxes when we returned the truck to Uhaul we wanted the money back from the boxes we didn’t need and were told we couldn’t get the money back because we didn’t get a receipt... are you kidding me..!! Are you trying to tell me they couldn’t go back into their computer and find a receipt on the same day the truck was returned..?? To top it all off we had no room to put the boxes in our vehicle after they were taken out of the moving van so we had to leave the boxes at Uhaul that were never used so Uhaul can turn around and resell them again... that’s unacceptable... that’s stealing... that’s BULLSHIT... !!! Uhaul owes us for 8 medium boxes that’s a lot of money this company owes to us and who knows how many other customers they’ve done this to because of an employee not doing there job by not giving a receipt to a customer when they’ve purchased an item over the rental of one of their trucks... that’s blatantly ripping off the consumer... I want my money back for those 8 boxes..!!!

Have more than one person working at the facility. I needed help with hooking up the trailer but had no help from the employee on duty. There were at least 3 other customers waiting for her to help them.

The location was a little obscure, especially if you’re new to the area, which many uhaul customers would be. Directional signage would help.

Get a better dealer network that will WORK TOGETHER and not a bunch of lazy wanna be dealer that have no interest in customer service. If you can not drop off at the same location as pickup it seems kind of useless.

I was incredibly upset when I arrived at the Matsqui Place Abbotsford to pick up the truck that I received confirmation the evening before on., only to find out the location had been changed & I needed to go to Mission. The TEXT message was sent to me at 7:39 AM the morning of our move for the Mission location. The problem was I was already on the road picking up my helpers at 7 am and many other pickups that morning. I cannot receive Text messages while driving , however phone calls I can receive hands free. Would it not make more sense to actually call your customer at the last minute like that rather than a TEXT message, not everyone is dialed in with the latest and greatest technology. I would definitely inform any of my friends and family of this experience. Moving = time schedules so when Uhaul throws an extra hour of travel just for pickup & then again for dropoff .... an already stressful ,exhausting day has now turned into a nighmare.

Dont request 3 phone numbers and 3 references, photo of drivers lisense, crédit card, vehicle. I an à commercial driver that has moved general frieght to oil fiels overdose size and windmillls.

The whole self check in process for rentals now over the phone is ridiculous and was way to time consuming. And the alternate number you requested that you called was some random guy I found in the Uhaul parking lot. How would I know that the persons number I give you would pick up the phone? If they don’t I don’t get my truck rental. Crazy. You have my credit card, a picture of my ID why on earth you need to call someone else is a very poor policy. I will not rent from Uhaul if this is the only way to pick up vehicles in the future.

I returned the trailer as agreed on Sunday August 12th after hours and an extra day was charged to my credit card without any warning. I will never use UHAUL again and buy my own trailer to avoid having to deal with your company again which is unfortunate because I have been a UHAUL customer for over 35 years. That extra $27.25 you charged me just costed you thousands of future business dollars. The lady at the location was pleasant however the establishment was a complete mess. So long UHAUL

The only negative was not the location but the process of picking up. Got an email the morning of the pickup, which I did not see until after as did not have time to read before leaving house. Said had to have a smart phone to use. What would a person be able to do without one. Luckily I just got one a smart phone for the first time about a week before the pickup. communication needs to be better with the process. Has nothing to do with the pickup location as the lady was very helpful.

Usually check in is a breeze rented a motorcycle trailer they gave me a trailer without the ramp so had to spend more time there to change it. The tools they have to do there job take for ever to do took her 20min to get a photo of my I'd cause the scanner tool she had was so slow it was ridiculous to be honest. Even bringing back the trailer it's usually drop sign out and leave not this place I had to go place the trailer back in its original spot every uhaul place I have rented from was drop and go?
