Very much like the location, VERY close to freeway, midtown Albuquerque, makes for easy equipment pick up, accomplish your mission and promptly return equipment. Would have given location EXCELLENT, but for foul odor

When I got in the truck, the fuel gauge indicated a different level than the one recorded on the paperwork. Honest mistake, I believe, but more careful recording in the future is recommended.

Before I finally was sent to the Princeton location I was bounced all over Albuquerque to get a truck that I had previously reserved days before. The truck was supposed to be at the Central ave, location for pickup by 7:30 am. when I got there they said I had to go to a location on 6th street instead. I never received a call or any kind of courtesy correspondence letting me know the truck would be in a different location. When I get to the 6th street location they told me my truck would not be available until 4pm. I informed the lady that my reservation was for 7:30 am that morning. She acted like she could care less. I finally talked her into trying to find me a truck which she final did at the Princeton location. U-Haul's customer service and failure to uphold the reservation agreement was very disappointing. I don't think I will ever do business with you folks again. The Princeton location and staff was at least good.

Had a very good experience. Had cancelled my rental because no 10 foot truck was not available. But they remembered me and when a 10 footer came in later in the morning they contacted me. I am very happy they did so because I was helping my daughter move to a new apartment, having the truck speeded up our move. Thank for the great service and going above and beyond to help a customer. Allow customers to have the hand truck and bag of blankets (the ones which were secured at the right rear of the vehicle I rented) removed from the truck by the dealer when customers don't want to use them. Their presence is annoying - and a waste of space

General manager was not very friendly. I was over charged and he was upset because he had to redo the transaction. The computer systems were updated and the programs were moving very slow.

There was a red warning brake light on. I realized when I was about .5 mi away. I was unable to get anyone to answer the phone for about 15 minutes. Then I was put on hold another 15 minutes. The boy who was with me finally walked back and was told that was just an electrical problem and not to worry. Oh, I also waited in line to get my truck for about 30 minutes. When I returned the truck I was told the manager would call me . I have not heard from him.

The rental place was fine. However I am extremely upset with your company as a whole. I reserved a truck three weeks ahead of time, then the night before I was to pick it up they told me it was unavailable. I had to change my planned logistics at the last minute, drive an extra 70 miles just to get the truck, plus the added expense of fuel and time. This experience was completely and utterly disasterous.

Ok so i called the 800 number to make a reservation, and after it was made i asked the rep to call me back in 5 minutes just so I could double check the funds were in my account, she agreed to hold the reservation and call me back in no more than 15 minutes. So after waiting about 30 I called them back to find out she had given away my truck that I had reserved and there were no more vehicles that size left for the days that I needed it, so I had to go with a different option of the smaller van. After confirming the second reservation I sent my girlfriend down there to pick up the truck. There she informed about multiple different charges that were not explained to me on the phone including environmental fee and having to fuel the truck back up. For the environmental fee it says it's for things like truck skirts, fuel economy gauge, environmentally friendly soap and recycle boxes and peanuts. Okay first off my van dif not contain a vehicle skirt for gas economy. It was the stock bumpers from the manufacturer, second isn't the fuel economy gauge put in by the manufacturer of the vehicle, into the dash as a standard option? My car has this feature and i don't recall paying and environmental fee for it. Third I'd hardly see it as the customer's responsibility to pay for there soap as to keeping there vehicle clean and presentable is the responsibility of the company. Lastly it says it's for the Recycled peanuts boxes and whatnot that can be PURCHASED, why am I being charged a fee for something that I would have to buy? Shouldnt it be included in the purchase of that item? Just my two cents. Then after that I was told it would be a flat rate charge of $19.95 a day plus $0.59 a mile, making it not a flat rate... I did agree to the $0.59 mileage charge and that's not what I'm getting at. Heres what I'm getting at is that upon paying for it they decided to mention that wr would have to refuel the truck upon Return. what'd like to know is what does the $0.59 a mile cover if not the gas that I used. Because on the website it states the vehicle gets 20 miles to the gallon, on my receipt it said I went 82 miles, making the final mileage rate $48.38. If the truck gets 20 miles to the gallon and I went 80 that means I used approximately 4 gallons. Gas being at about $2.10 right now that would be under $9 for gas and being charged almost 50 seems a little pricey on top of having to fuel up the gas myself, adding another fee to their supposed flat rate. I guess they have to charge for maintenance of the vehicle and whatnot but maintaining their vehicles should be part of their company's responsibility. I understand charging the customer for that to make money, but $ 48 seems a little bit high when I used $9 worth of gas. So after fueling up the vehicle it was about $57 on top of the rental fee. When she got back with the estimate receipt I read the estimated total was going to be $51, and when I return the vehicle granted I did drive a little bit more than expe

When you rent a truck the use of dollys and furniture covers should be included in the price of the rental.

I reserved a 26 foot truck 3 weeks early to move my family to the other side of town. When I arrived at the location they advised me that they did not have a 26 foot truck for me. The representative advised that they had attempted to contact me the day prior but could not reach me. There were also no 26 foot trucks available at any other locations. Because this was the only day I could move, I had to settle for a 15 foot truck (at a slight discount) and make multiple trips. The whole move cost me more than it would have for the larger truck, and STILL did not move all of my possessions. I have always used u haul for my moves. Next time I move I will look elsewhere.

The Princton location was as super. But when I went to pickup my truck WHICH WHEN I PHONED ON THURSDAY MORNING my truck was available and I was all set. I verified 3 times on the phone that the truck was at the 6th street Uhaul... well when I arrived at the 6th street Uhaul I was told that I did not have a truck. After informing the attendant there 6th street Uhaul that I had a reservation and I had spoken with attendant the morning before he took the time to look up my reservation. That is when I was informed the truck was at the Princeton store location.. this is not good customer service. I should be given at lea as t a 10 percent dicount Jerry Johnson 505 659 2368

I have used UHaul twice in the past couple of months and both times great quick service. Customer Service was excellent. Website works great but I would remove default selections which can result in paying for things you didn't want or need.

A headlight was out but only discovered when driving at night, so better inspection. I had to drive to multiple locations to pick up the vehicle and trailer, none of them were where I had scheduled the pick up, which killed a lot of my time. Having a person that could fulfill my reservation (gathering all the different equipment into one location) would be good
