People are friendly and helpful. We have recently been regular renters for city concert band. The rental on Friday November 28th had two issues. One, the ignition is pulling out of the steering column and key would not come out. Called Meers and they walked me through how to retrieve the key by moving the ignition switch. Two, we rented a 20' truck which had just over a half a tank at the start. We used it for 25 miles with half of that the truck was empty. Just a quick short trip. Upon returning, the warning light came on telling me there was only 30 mile until empty. That is a 40 gallon tank. At over half full when we left, there should have been over 20 gallons in the tank. To have that much gas used in just 25 miles means that either the truck has a leak or the gas meter is incorrect. I reported it to Meers and hope get an answer as I have another rental upcoming in two days. We were charged $50+ for not returning truck with tank indicating over half full. Thanks. Sabapathy EThey said they had 24 hour drop off. I got locked inside their gate and the owner acted like i was an idiot because I didn’t have the code. I specifically asked the young man if they had 24 hour drop off and he said yes. He never mentioned a gate code nor did he give me one. I actually had to call 911 but I ultimately got out.
