My original reservation was for a 17' truck at FSB auto in Lake Jackson,TX. The uhaul rep called me that there were no 17' trucks in my area for that date and "upgraded" me to a 20' truck. When I showed up to pick up truck through 24/7 online pick up...no equipment was assigned to my reservation. Called the 24/7 support # and went to voicemail/never received a return call after chatting online and calling customer service for over 30 minutes, a rep was able to find a 15' truck 10 miles away which added additionally mileage to my trip because I had to be moved out that day. When I went to the location they forgot to put utility dolly in the truck and I had to go back inside and remind them. Then I had to call customer service again so they could file my complaint back through the original place of reservation. I am still waiting to receive my $50 reservation guarantee refund or any other refund from this total mismanagement of my reservation. If I have other options in the future I will never use Uhaul again due to this incredible inconvenience and lack of customer support to make it right.

While the lady at the store was nice, I got no rental contract to sign and it turned out that the 2 dollies and dozen furniture pads I ordered and prepaid for were never on the truck. The person I turned the truck in to got it strsightened out for me. I should receive a credit for the items that were not on the truck. I've never had issues with U-Haul until this morning.

The lady that helped me was totally new, but she was so darn sweet, that it was okay if it took a little bit longer to get into my 17' truck. I agreed with the associate that I spoke to later, when she said, "She is going to be great when she learns all of this stuff!"

When we contacted 1800uhaul we were helped by a man named Khan. He quoted us the wrong price, reserved us a uhaul at a closed location, did not tell any price we would be charged but the 19.95. When trying to pick up our truck at the location in Richwood we find out its closed til monday. We look for another location and find out the dont have anything but the 29.95 truck,mileage is .99 per mile, and our price of rental has really exceeded our budget. I would not recommend uhaul or will i use them again at this point. Tried calling customer service several times was put on hold at least 15 mon each time and still never spoke to anyone.. Sincerely. The truck that I reserved and confirmed online beforehand was not available at the location when I went to pick it up. The website even routed me specifically to that location because a closer location did not have a pickup truck available, so it was unexpected and frustrating. The gas station where the rental transaction took place was dirty, and the counter was so crowded with stuff for sale that I could not see the employee assisting me, and they remained seated at their computer, out of my sight and barely within earshot, while they collected my contact information and asked if I wanted to upgrade the insurance offered. They also helped several other customers as they came into the store while I stood aside to wait, which I understand but it still did not help alleviate the situation. It took nearly an hour to get the reservation straightened out since the truck I needed was not available, and the employee assisting me did not offer to take any responsibility for the error, claiming it "wasn't her boss' fault" that this mix-up had occurred. I understand mistakes happen but the website reservation system was incredibly frustrating and not helpful, and the staff I interacted with did not make the process smoother. They were not familiar with the product or sympathetic to the difficulty involved.

This trailer was in a swampy puddle on the ground and access to it was very limited. The checkout counter was unhelpful and sometimes lacked internet connectivity.

The cashier was great, but the location is hard to find and I was promised 70miles but when I actually looked at the receipt it read 48miles. But i had a misfortune at the return of the truck and the phone personnel was soo very helpful and it was resolved with out any hardship on my part. Thank u

Location i was sent to was not open. calls to customer service were not helpful and I was put on hold by a person for 25 minutes. Had to make over 6 phone calls to correct. I would love to have someone call me over this.

First drop off address was wrong, then the one the call center sent me to, poor woman didn't even know I was coming and she did the best she could. Also, I was charged an additional $1.79 with no explanation. I dropped the truck off with an extra 1/4 tank of gas and I'm pretty sure I was within mileage. It's not the money, it the principal.

Better access to the Uhaul system. The system at this location was not user friendly and kept locking the user out which caused me to loose a lot of time.

The lady at cross country store was exceptional. I was unable to get a truck and equipment at my preferred location. I also had to get truck in one location and equipment at a separate store.

The guy was a real asshole. Did not have any blankets as we had reserved them with the truck three weeks prior. When questioned by my husband, he threw the credit card and ID back at him and said You call UHaul. Then he hold us that he wasn't even sure if the truck ran or not and he would have to check it out first. Said we could get down the road and something could happen and it would not be his fault. Would NEVER recommend this place EVER.

Arrived to turn in my Uhaul. Counter person had no idea how to handle the turn in. I called UHaul which started the ball rolling. The end result after 30 minutes the counter person was coached how to return the vehicle.

The clerk was not trained how to rent uhaul. Did not know how to work the system. The check engine light came on 10 min after I left. Called in Agent (male) told me it was ok, I could continue to drive the truck, I informed him I was already on my way back to the initial rental location and had an infant in the truck with me. I had also called the store to let the clerk know I was on my way back due to check engine light. She was not trained on how to swap out the truck for another truck. She tried calling customer service was placed on hold for more than 15 min. I called was given ?(713) 750-7701? To call. The rep kept hanging up in my face and the clerk’s. Clerk tried to call field rep Cody, she left a message for him. I was placed on hold for another 25 min. Clerk called the owner of the store in which he said he was busy and informed the clerk to call customer service. I finally spoke to a rep and she swapped the truck. I went on at 8:50 am left at 9:35 am back at 9:50 didn’t leave again until 11:00 am! When returning the rental at 3 pm I asked the 2nd shift clerk if Cody had called back, she said he hadn’t and never does! Ridiculous!

The person that first renter the u haul was polite and courteous. When I took it back a different person was there she didn't know what she was doing kept making me go back to the side so she could help customers. Then called the owner who told her on speaker to tell me they were closed and come back tomorrow. I paid cash and didn't receive my change. I moved and only have a few days to set up my home and now I have to go and mess with this.

I called the 800 number to find out where I was supposed to drop off the rental truck. It took over 15 minutes for a representative to come on the line & then a while for her to figure out where I should go. My husband went to drop the rental off, and the person at the gas station said they could not give a receipt because their printer was broken. Overall, U-haul needs to do a better job on the customer service side of the business.
