Truck was full of screws, cigarettes, and mud. We did not get a walk through of the truck prior and were unaware of how to use the light inside the back of the truck. We asked if we needed to fuel it up after, the guy said "oh, uh yeah.." Then asked for instructions for after hour returns and were time there's a drop box outside for keys, their them in there and you're done. Dropped off the truck, put the keys in the box and upon closing the box saw that we needed to do an online return. It required pictures and we had already dropped the keys into the box. Half way through the online return, the website kicked me out and I had to start over. Dropped truck off about 1130pm, and had to restart the online return at 1202 am, it then charged me for two rental periods and twice the miles. Am not impressed. Next time we will NOT rent a uhaul. I refuse. It is not worth the hassle or $140 to move one person only a 15 minute drive. Next time we will need to just make trips. I will not recommend the rental place or uhaul at this time.

Grand Rental did a fine job. The problem is with Uhaul. Your reservation system sucks. I reserved a truck online to be picked up at Kruegers Hardware in Neenah, WI. When I went to pick it up, I was told that the truck was in a town 10 miles away. Which meant a 20 mile round trip (at $1 per mile) to pick it up and drop it off. Grand Rental adjusted the mileage charge to help reduce the extra mileage charge, but if the Uhaul system worked correctly, I wouldn't have wasted an 1.5 hours picking up and dropping off the truck 10 miles from where I reserved it. Your reservation system sucks.

This uhaul location was great. Uhaul online reservations need to do a better job I had a 12:45 pm pick up time and they set me up at a place that closes at 12pm Really? . Had to change my plans at last minute to pick up trailer at 11:00 am at this location. Not very happy that uhaul online reservations don't pay attention to when there locations close

If the customer requests a dolly, inform them they need to grab one on the way out. We were not informed to grab one when leaving the location.

Vehicle was cold and full of snow. I had to use my personal ice scraper to clean off the windshield as there was not one in the vehicle that I could find.

The pick up and drop off services were fine. However, for Corporate U-Haul, the overall experience of trying to return the truck, SUCKED! You idiots do not maintain an accurate data base of pick up or return locations. I had to go to THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS to return my truck, because the first two were either out of the U-Haul business, or had shifted to Penske. And the third and final location had an incorrect address, so it was only with VERBAL directions from the Penske location was I able to find it! It took me an extra 90 MINUTES to return the stupid truck. Get your act in one sock, Corporate U-Haul, and keep an accurate data base (or Google) to prevent headaches in the future. I should be given a partial refund for all the extra time and effort I had to expend!

Since moving to Appleton, we have used Grand Rental Station on W. Wisconsin almost exclusively because we have always been so well served by this company. I highly recommend that you visit Grand Rental Station next time you need to rent anything! I know this must read like an advertisement but I am just a very satisfied customer, that's all!

Your online after hours drop off is not friendly. Could not find it for returning a trailer. Nice video on returning a truck though. Had to hold on until the office opened and come back to return the unit.

I have to complaints that I’d like your response to: First, the instructions on where to pick up the one-way truck were absent and frustrating. The online web site showed a truck available at a location quite near our loading point. Upon arrival, I waited several minutes while the owner was on the phone with U-Haul only to be told there wasn’t a one way truck available there (even though the on line confirmation directed me there). I had to go to another location several miles away. Then, at the right location, their computer link with U Haul didn’t work. The entire rental experience at the pick up end took about two hours out of my day (and the day out of the two fellas with me). I also ended up going 19 miles beyond the 127 allowed and had to pay extra. Some of the “extra miles” were a result of U Haul’s mis-information. Secondly, I was asked to return the truck’s gas tank back to 11/16th full (11/16th!!) How is anyone supposed to figure that out? It is a ridiculous requirement, and seems designed to take advantage of the customer. Most rental companies use common sense: give the vehicle to the customer with the tank full and ready to go; the customer then returns it full. The vehicle was ok, but the overall experience was frustrating, time consuming, and at times made no rational sense.
