“I had a blowout on the transport trailer while my car was loaded, which forced me to replace 3 tires and wait about an hour on the road. I didn’t even feel safe leaving that night and had to wait until the next day to continue. Then at the drop-off location, the worker just sat in the truck and told me to leave the trailer in the back. He didn’t ask for paperwork or help unhook at all. The whole experience felt unsafe and unprofessional.”

WANDA WWas over charged. When I called the lady told me that she couldn't help me. Will never rent from there again.
JIMMY RI recently visited this location to rent a trailer for a short, 12-hour use. When I arrived, the attendant inside was on the phone and did not acknowledge me for over 10 minutes, which set a poor tone from the start. I declined the optional insurance, as I’ve done many times at other U-Haul locations without issue. However, this location made it unnecessarily uncomfortable. The employee inside lectured me about the consequences of declining coverage and emphasized that I was being recorded. I fully understand the risks and found the approach unprofessional and excessive. Outside, a different staff member helped me hook up the trailer, and he was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, another employee—sitting in a nearby vehicle—continually micromanaged him and, at one point, shouted, “Make sure you get tons of pictures because he doesn’t have insurance.” That comment was unnecessary and disrespectful. I was already aware of my decision and didn’t need to be called out in that way. The facility itself was fine, and the equipment worked as expected, but the staff’s approach—particularly their attitude toward customers declining insurance—was disappointing. A little professionalism and respect would go a long way.
ALEXANDER LSite pickup was great. U-Haul corporate computer system was down nationally. U-Haul corporate needs to ensure there is an alternate way for people to check out a trailer when the system goes down in order to not inconvenience the customer. U-Haul must have the ability to use old school contracts when computer services are incapacitated.
