I was given the wrong size truck and not told until I was 60miles away on a job site when I called to complain that the box seemed a lot smaller than what I ordered. The truck smelled like urine so I had the windows down, then i needed heat but the heater smelled like cigarettes. I was told I would obtain a refund, that was well over a week ago and still nothing. I was told a Mngr would contact me, still hasn't. I am very disappointed in how things not only went but how they were handled after I made a complaint.Travis W.

We reserved a 20-25 foot truck and were given a 15 footer. Not good for a cross state move. Reservation system is terrible.John P.

I still have a pending charge on my debit card that I was told had been reversed. The online reservation process was a waste of time, since we had to do everything again at the location. Was reserved under one name with an added auth driver. They transferred reservation to the auth driver name. So much confusion. Truck smelled bad like stale cigarettes.JOSEPH S.

Initially, went well, vehicle was clean, check out - easy. Little mix up as two people had same vehicle scheduled. Since I was first to check out and hit the web button - I got the vehicle. I was told there was no check in drop off box. However, I knew I could back up to the building and put key in safe place. I live 1.5 hours away from drop off location. I gassed up the vehicle. I took pictures of truck backed up to building. To check in I sends email to Uhaul and called Before 9am. Then I get Call from the person who works at facility saying I can't do that and I damaged their building. I have the picture - I didn't. I was charged regular rates - he originally wrote it up as local. Fix you drop off process -it's 2020. I don't recommend threading customers that your going to charge for Building damage. Don't use this location.CLINT J.
We reserved the unit over the phone via your call center. They asked for a credit card to reserve the unit. I sent one of our employees to pick up the trailer 6 miles from our office only to get a call saying they would not finialize the rental without the person with the card in person to sign for it. If I had been told this detail on the phone I would have planned much differently to pick up. It cost me more in lost time and manpower waiting around than it did for the rental. I had to drive 40 miles one way to pick up the dolly. I saw plenty at my local uhaul less than a mile away and know for a fact one was available in edmonds within an hour of me picking this up, would have saved me over an hour of driving and 10 gallons of gas. Honestly capped of a ridiculous experience. I also was told to bring my vehicle requiring 2 drivers and upon arriving told "we can't help you load it"Jack S.

Truth and honesty and follow through. I was told that there was only a quarter tank of gas and that I needed to replenish to that amount or I would be charged $4 per gallon. I opted to return truck and go ahead and pay $4 per gal for gas. I was charged a lot more and when I called the next day was told they forgot to tell me that if the tank was turned in under quarter tank, then there was a $30 charge assessed. The rep told me he forgot to tell me this, but that he had to charge it because it is policy and I signed the tiny writing in the contract. When I got the verbal answer that gas replacement would be $4/gal and hiding the extra charge, that verbal answer IS the contract. Such hidden dishonesty. The advertised $29.99 for a day turned out to be over $170. Highway robbery. Go elsewhere everyone!Audrey W.
I called or stopped by 4 other U- haul locations and was appauled at the lack of customer service and in fact thought some were just trying to scam me. One place wanted $250 for a one-way car dolly same state, another had one and I was there in person but wouldn't help me reserve one - said I had to do it on line and would give me no other information. I'm glad I found the place in Arlington - excellent service!!Gene A.
