I've rented from here several times, and it has been a good experience. This time, not so much. I reserved a cargo van over a month ago, had a similar rental the previous month as well, without issue. Upon pick up this time, with no previous communication apart from confirming the reservation, the reserved vehicle was not available. I was instead provided a box truck, the rate of the vehicle requested was not honored- thus costing our company (a non-profit) more. The step up into the truck was challenging for loading, no ramp and I am expecting which is why I selected the smaller cargo van with side access as previously done. The driver mirror had previously been broken and glued/fused into place- it wasn't able to be used for safe driving. The headlights, pointed to the same place low to the ground and were very dim/unsafe for night driving. In addition to the hassle to load, I had to purchase a lock for the box for overnight storage, additional unexpected cost. While I would use the company again, I absolutely would have made different arrangements elsewhere had it been communicated the vehicle reserved was not available and would result in being much more costly for our organization.
