The owners went above and beyond to help my move go smoothly. This is the second time I have had to rent a truck from them and I was glad I did! I highly recommend this business
Ron was fine. He did provided a nice truck ready to go and the blankets along with appliance dolly. My problem is with the originally booked Medford office and then customer service. You all changed the pickup location to about 15 miles south of where I wanted and needed. I chose the Medford location for proximity to the use need and I know they have lots of moving items like boxes, tape, mattress bags, etc.. Ashland site had nothing. Secondly, I was told the dumbest answer twice, when I asked why they couldn't get the truck from Ashland up to Medford for me, "they have the truck". No kidding, really? Gee, I wonder why I'm asking? I deal with customer service a lot in my line of work. The correct thing to do, was get the truck 15 miles north and not inconvenience the customer, but apparently that's just dumb business to U-Haul.... make the customer go to a completely different town to get the truck, after my rental was confirmed to pickup where I wanted. Customer service couldn't do anything either apparently. I also ordered moving help. The mover chosen did not reach out to me within the stated 24-48 hours and when I called them because I hadn't heard. They never got the request from U-Haul. This was later backed up by moving help person I spoke with later. I was left to scramble for moving help the next day and it cost me. I was told there is nothing U-Haul can do! Really, you sell and pre-charge my credit card but you can't do anything to rectify the situation caused by U-Haul. Exactly how do you take up a problem with a mover that never got the request? I asked to talk with the customer service rep's manager. She put me on hold for a minute or so, then stated, hold one moment for the manager and proceeded to hang up on me. I had to call back and explain the whole thing over again. The only thing good out of the entire experience was in fact the truck. It worked just fine. I just really felt like U-Haul got absolutely nothing right in the customer service department and didn't care one bit. No one felt compelled to actually help. At all points, it really came across, like "take it or leave it, we don't care". Horrible experience. The lady at "moving help" was helpful and did credit back my charges for a move request that never went out, thankfully.

We rented the 6X12 covered trailer during the last week of December and all went well. We needed a second trip for the first week of January, but found that the Klamath Falls office had none available, but they found one in Ashland, which is the other side of the Cascade mountains 90 miles away. I drove across the mountains in snowy conditions and brought the trailer home, which consumed the whole day. We were given an extra day returning it on Jan. 7th. That gave us one day to pack, then one day to drive the next day for getting there over icy and snow covered highway, again crossing over the Cascades. There was not enough time allowed because of the winter driving conditions. I was very disappointed that U-Haul could not transport that trailer to Klamath Falls and not allowing for enough time for us to complete our move without the nerve racking driving that I, as an 81 year old man, had to deal with. The ADA has mandated that older people are given consideration for their limitations. I expected more of your company. I will write to my congressman and AARP of this lack of consideration.

Friendly and flexible. I was able to arrange for the mover we had hired to directly pick up the truck so I did not even have to drive it at all. Thanks so much Kathy Masarie (and hopefully we will not move again for a very long time and will not need to repeat that project)

Nice folks convenient location.

Ron and Brie are great and very accommodating. Location is convenient and access to equipment is much better than the other Ashland location. The facility itself is in an older Shell station that not particularly well kept.

The office space smelled terribly of marijuana and it is always messy. The man running this location called me mid day asking if I could come in then to pick up my vehicle. His inflection made it sound like if I came in early he got to leave early. I declined and showed up at my scheduled pick up time. He did not know how to use the computer system that I had to help him select the correct drop down menu to use my card on file. Thank goodness I do this often enough otherwise we would have been in a mess!

Al's Old Fashioned Car Wash provides extraordinary service - prompt, professional, effective, helpful and understanding. in fact, they're so good that I called this specific location several times during my complex cross-country UHaul rental because I knew they would immediately understand and effect my reservation changes, unlike the operators at the general UHaul number. :)

Location was OK, but your self pickup didn't work at all. I logged on with my phone, but the rental hadn't loaded and I was unable to access the self pickup. The location was closed and it was only because the manager's son happened to be in town that I was able to get the truck. Had I not been able to get the truck I would have been in a horrible mess. As it was I was 30 minutes late to pick up my load. GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Bree and Ron are absolutely fantastic! Laid back, prompt service. Thanks you two!! There was an issue with the gas gauge on the vehicle. After I filled it with gas, it showed LOWER than before I filled it, even after driving a round to make sure it wasn't stuck. Luckily Bree and Ron were great about it, but still, this should be looked into!

Being present when someone schedules a pick-up would help. More training with filling out forms would also help.

Very helpful people and a smooth experience all around. I would definitely recommend using them.

Office smelled of marijuana. Representative that waited on me was short and almost rude. She also told me incorrect information. I informed her that I didn’t know where I was going to drop off the truck and she said “oh we can put that you will chose your drop off place”. Well that was untrue, so I ended up driving at least 20 extra miles in my drop off location (salt lake city) trying to find the location she put on my paperwork. I also needed the truck in Klamath Falls not Ashland But was told there were none. So I had to drive an extra 140 miles just to pick up the truck and I wasted the whole day doing so.

Arrived at the location at time of reservation, office was locked, multiple phone calls to get someone to the office to process the pickup--1 1/2 hours sitting and waiting and frustration with a tight time limit.
