The description of the trailer I rented was misleading, it stated 12’ x 6’. Able to haul heavier items, ramp for motorcycles, ATVs, “some golf carts”, and vehicles. The description did not mention the loading width is only 4’9”. A confusing sketch below unfortunately did not help me make the appropriate choice. Underneath the sketch was a link to the dimensions, my mistake for not opening that link. After a 400 mile round trip I found the trailer to be useless for my hauling project. The store was nice and respectful, unfortunately I will not support any UHaul rentals to anyone I know. The rental wasn’t too expensive, but the time and mileage costs made this experience completely unacceptable.

sue sMy rental had a major safety issue after being assured it was inspected and good to go. One headlight was not working properly and the same highbeam was nonexistent. Middle of the rocky mountains at night in the pitch black dark with a single headlight is unacceptable after being assured everything was in order.
JAMES CVehicle rentals "have" to be allocated to a customer "sooner than the day before". Your agents should have more discretion in assigning a truck rental if there is one already sitting in their lot. There is a lot of planning to a move by truck and the last thing you need is U-Haul deciding to use a vehicle in a lot the day before it's supposed to be assigned.
