The people were friendly, and the truck was excellent. It's been maybe 10 years since I rented a truck, and things have certainly changed for the better. These trucks desperately need a rear camera though. The only negative is that I got charged a fuel charge, and I don't understand why. I confirmed before taking the truck that it had to be brought back with at least as much fuel as when I got it. There was 1/8 of a tank, and "51 miles remaining" on the dash when I got it. When I returned it the truck had 1/4 tank and just over 100 miles remaining. The receipt I got shows that I was charged for 6 gal of fuel at $23.38 ($3.90/gal which is well over the local $2.70/gal price). I called and asked why I was charged for this, and they didn't know, but said they'd check and call me back. I never received any call, and I didn't see any refund for the fuel charge. This just seems like it's going in the pocket of U-Haul or the local dealer since it's unlikely they'll put 6 gallons of fuel in for the next renter.
