They changed our pick up location to over an hour away and smaller truck making us pay for more mileage and gas. The equipment I rented. Dolly and furniture pads were not in the back. The door in back was frozen shut. Had to make several phone calls add a driver since app wasn’t working. The experience made the whole move a lot more stressful’. The drop location business had a wonderful owner

You can have your customer routed to the location they chose. Instead, I get a call the day before that routes me to this location which is 25 miles out of my way. So it was a 50 mile round trip. I might be able to accept this if it weren't for the fact that my hotel was right next to the location I selected (a major U-Haul retail outlet, by the way) and there were at least 5 of the trucks I wanted just sitting in their parking lot. How I got shafted with this other location is beyond me, but U-Haul needs to be better about this and not send customers on an hour round trip just to pick up their truck when there are many in town.
JAMES KI dropped off the truck after hours, so I only saw the parking lot. I was a bit unsure where to park the truck so i just guessed. Otherwise the location was very easy to find.

ROBERT WThe location was fine, other than the fact that the truck I picked up was basically on "E" without any obvious gas station in the near vicinity, but U-Haul's entire process of booking out rental trucks from local distributors is an absolute dumpster fire. We set our reservation for a much closer location literally a month in advance, and had to change to this location at the last minute, because U-Haul couldn't guarantee availability at our location of choice, which, again, we had indicated literally a month ago. Also, moving to this location increased the price of our rental, because it was way further from our end destination and increase the miles.
