I did everything online and when I went to pick it up U-Haul had added $8 for insurance coverage that I did NOT select when I reserved it. I did not see it on the emailed contract (I did not get a printed one) until after I picked up the trailer. Now I am out $8 because the pickup location said I had to call U-Haul which I haven't had a chance to do yet.Lisa J.

Medium dirty inside the back of the truck. I swept it. Ordered 48 blankets and a hand truck (aka dolly, aka two-wheeler) and there were none of them. Additionally, it took well over an hour to get the truck from the closed store front with the help of one of the people that answer when I called the 800 number. The app is terrible. Constantly losing connection and asking to tap to refresh. Made the check-out process take forever. I thought I was done, realized I wasn't, had to do a face to face to get the key back to take pictures. Staff was great!jason L.
Mobile experience is difficult and took a lot of time, and was a hassle. Returning was also a hassle on the app. You need to change your settings for the mileage. When you enter the amount on app, it doesn't have the last number on odometer, yet the app expects you to make one up, so it enters it that. I kept entering the reading and finally added any extra number and it worked. Took 15 minutes to figure this out. Was on hold with U-Haul and no one got to me in this time, and thankfully I figured out on my own. Return was 5 minutes late by this time, but thankfully It didn't charge me extraLori B.

set up online to pick up online to pick up at 130. i set this time becauae my wife and i are both working from home and it was the only time we both were available at the same time with no meetings. this was our lunches. we arrived about 120 to pick up the uhaul. we arrive to a piece of receipt taped to the door stating they will be back shortly. they did not show back up until 145. this caused my wife and i both to be late back to work and having to make this time up. to make matters worse then when i drop thr vehicle off and do the online check in, uhaul is charging my an additional 42.00, i am assuming due to be dropped off late. which i am sure it stated a time i probably missed it but i dont remember seeing at booking it needing to be returned a specific time. very disappointed in this service and then being charged additional funded. perhaps i should send a bill to uhaul for my time i had to make up. the way i figured it we both needed to explain to our bosses why we were both 30 minutes late, which would come to about 45 for both of us.steve M.
