Always a pleasure and easy to rent a trailer in Barrington. We always need the same size trailer every year at the same time and have never had a problem 👍
Alex BThe woman at this locations was so kind. Highly recommended this uhual location!!!
Suzanne EThe reservation (made months ago) was for a trailer pickup in Dartmouth and yet this was the only trailer made available to me. This location is almost 3 hours from Dartmouth. That was an additional 5.5-6 hours of travel to pick up the trailer. Completely unacceptable. This location is in the middle of nowhere and is pretty sketchy. The desk where I signed and paid is in a shed that is messy and very unprofessional. The computer did not work and I had to sign the contract on the person's iphone. The person also overcharged me, charging $40 for insurance that she did not ask whether I needed. The trailer is a very good trailer. Extremely well made and very useful. However, the wheels (rims) are quite rusty and there is a patina of rust even on the galvanized sections. The parts were all in working order though.
David HThe Barrington people who run it are friendly and helpful. But I should not have had to go an hour and half to pick trailer up. I had booked trailer to be picked up at the Saulnierville location in advance. The trailer was there 2 weeks earlier. When you call at 3:00 on a Sunday the day before pick up, it leaves you no options. If your communication had been in the morning, I could have picked up Sunday afternoon instead instead of losing a chunk of my Monday morning. The people at the Barrington location had reached out and I could have picked up Sunday afternoon instead, but it was too late because of poor customer service policies by U-Haul. They could learn from the people at Barrington. I am sure this is known at least 2 or 3 days before pickup and that should be relayed to customer immediately so they can make arrangements.
