My original rental agreement was with South Bay auto Plex in Prairieville Louisiana. I had reserved a 26 foot U-Haul. When I arrived, the owner was in the midst of renting it to another couple who drove off with the only 26 foot U-Haul on site. I explained to him I had a reservation, but he kept telling me to hold on and helped other customers. It was probably 30 minutes before he gave me his attention and said it was U-Haul’s fault because they double booked. It was impossible to stay in the store because there was a dog in the store and the store smelled like dog feces and urine. All the customers had to go outside just to take a breath. The man could not type, could not speak, smelled bad and seemed very confused. Uhaul should not have him representing your company. I had to switch my reservation and find a different truck at superior Drive in Baton Rouge and the service there was excellent.
