When I picked up the uHaul, it had less than 1/4 of a tank of gas- it said "71 miles to empty." So I find it frustrating that I drove it a total of 41 miles and I'm charged for more gas than I utilized. Had I picked up the Uhaul with a full tank, I would have returned it with a full tank. But there's no reason for me to pay for gas when I'm given a vehicle that already needs gas. So I was disappointed in that.

Paula HI guess 7/8 of a tank is a subjective measurement, I was charged for 1 gal of gas when I had just filled it within a mile of the drop off to what appeared to me to be 7/8 of a tank. I'd recommend having them go out on full and come back full, I understand this is your business model and you're making money off of this tactic, but I think it's tacky.
