Very unsatisfied with overall experience with u haul. Location was fine had a truck and carrier reservations and it changed three times on the day before reservation and trailer was not available. Went to pick up trailer at another location and it was not there either. Had to go 35 miles away to another location for the trailer. Location had problems putting in the rental and made my day long to say the least. Online reservations is a joke I have not seen the invoice charge yet. I think that some needs to contact me and come up with better resolution for the problems time fuel and mileage wasted on the inept online reservations.

The first trailer that was hitched to my car had no working lights. The person brought their car around to test if it is the trailer or my car. The problem was with the trailer. Then a second trailer was hitched to my car. It also had no working lights. AmThird trailer was hitched to my car. We tested the turn signals and breaks and the lights appeared to work. Nobody thought to test the running lights. As night fell, I was on my journey, and when I stopped at a rest stop, I noticed that there were no lights shining from the trailer. I made sure that my car’s night-time running lights were on (even though they normally turn on automatically) but no lights on the trailer!!! It was now late at night, I couldn’t find a U-Haul service centre open. I just drove for the next three hours without trailer running lights - NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SITUATION. when I returned the trailer in Canada, I informed the person that was checking me in, but no offer to compensate me in any way. When I asked for a discount, he said that I should call UHaul. I thaught I was returning the trailer to a UHaul location.

The lady who helped me was fantastic. Even though I didn't have a reservation and couldn't provide a final destination address (it was still up in the air at the time), she helped me through the rental process and got me the newest truck she had (just 5,000 miles on it). She was super nice and patient with me. I can't recommend this location enough!

I was told when I picked up the trailer and when I dropped it off that it was my responsibility to attach and unattach the trailer. The dealer employee also requested that I help another customer hook up her trailer when I dropped off my trailer. I instructed her that in nearly 40 years of renting u-haul trailers the dealer always attached the trailer. She told me 3 times and another customer that the u-haul policy requires that the customer does this and not the dealer. She did hook up the safety chains, but neglected to attach the rubber protectors to prevent the chain hooks from detaching. I attached the rubber chain hook protectors and explained to her how to do it and the value. It was very obvious that the employee did not want to get involved with attaching and unattaching the trailers. She then lied about what she told me and the other customer to the owner. This employee was very rude to me, lied about all three incidents, got very angry with me, and raised her voice to me in front of other customer. This employee should be terminated for these incidents. The trailer condition was excellent.

UHaul changed my order that I placed online. I didn't add the insurance, they automatically did. They messed up the type of vehicle I said I was driving to pull the trailer. Then the license plate number was wrong.

The lady working at this location is beyond TOP NOTCH. She went above and beyond in helping me solve a problem caused by the incorrect installation of my trailer hitch by another Uhaul location. I have not had such good customer service from pretty much any other business. She saw a problem and went right to work fixing it. She deserves kudos and a commendation!

I've rented from this location before and always get great service. On this last rental I filled the tank before returning the truck out of courtesy and habit (I rent cars often) and was shocked to discover that I had just donated gas -- no possibility of reimbursement for the gas receipt according to local policy. Somehow that doesn't seem right. -gary
