Unexplained charges - estimated charge from U-Haul was $30.... I ended up being charged $100 for a 5-mile ride. No one at this location provided a detailed walk through of the fees, mileage, or anything really. The surprise fees are astronomically higher than what I was expecting. The mileage was never verified before releasing the vehicle to me and somehow the owner claims that I drove 80+ miles?!!?! Impossible. I calculated the distance I drove and it's approximately 5 miles. Ridiculous

Was not impressed. Had a reservation to drop off at this location. Then when I got there after a long day of driving and moving, I was told that they didn't have room for the truck. Not sure how this is possible, or not communicated beforehand. I was given a call 24 hours before saying that everything is good to go with the dropoff location. It was incredibly frustrating, and I'd appreciate some form of compensation and/or refund. Please let me know how to proceed with this claim.

Everything was terrible from the beginning to the end. The customer service, the offices we have been(we have been sent to office which are overbooked) the truck, the mirrors were broken in tne trucks we received, the odometer was not consistent with the number on the paper, the gas was less than what was told to us. EVERYTHING was sSUPER unprofessional and you are supposedly a big company..

Giving this customer a quarter tank of gas is inadequate. Plus no one called me to tell me this was my location. I went to the wrong location as a result.

It was horrible experience. I arrive there at exactly the time I booked my truck and there were no trucks available and I had to take a smaller van in a shorter period of time. I was recommended not book trucks online any more as "the system is really poor and sometimes mixes reservations from customers"

you're doing fine

I returned the tank as empty as it was when I got it. And they charged me the full amount. Complete scam . For a price over 4$ a gallon ?!

Med was a very nice and humble person, was a pleasure working with him. I will always use this location for EQ rental.

The reason I would not recommend it is simply because the price per mile was 10cents higher than what was listed on the website and I was not informed of it until I arrived to pick up the truck, at which point I had no choice. It was a weekday evening which is typically listed as 89 cents/mile and that was what I confirmed over the phone when I booked it...but arrived to find that the it was more expensive per mile at this location.

Offer customer parking even if it's at a fee. Finding parking in the area is horribly inconvenient.

Any renter needs to do a through walk-around and document existing damage. Vehicles are fine but definitely show water and tear, some of it substantial. That will reduce hassles upon return. I took photos before I left the lot and upon my return so there would be no questions.

The additional equipment I ordered was not provided. Made the moving process extremely inconvenient and time consuming, how am I supposed to carry furniture without the moving equipment I ordered?

I dont know if it is the fault of the location or the uhaul service, but everything was wrong. I booked a van Thursday through Sunday, I got a call Wednesday asking why I had not picked up the van, so I corrected your mistake. then when I came to pick up the van on Thursday they told me it had been reserved through monday and instead of a van it was a truck. all said and done, i ended up being an hr and a half late for work. I dont blame the location since I have rented from them before without a problem.

This comment is for uhaul, not the location itself. I returned the truck back SLIGHTLY under 1/4 of a tank (I originally received it at 1/4) and was shocked to find that I was charged an additional $30 for gas. THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! I used the truck for exactly 10 miles and it would have cost maybe $5 to return it to 1/4, if that! You are scamming and taking advantage of customers. I will never use uhaul services again (sorry United Mailboxes. You guys were great though.)

The worst customer service ever! I will never come here again and I tell all my friends and family to stay away! The manager Med is so rude, he hung up on me when I called to complain about being charged 3 times! This store is full with a bunch of idiots! A monkey would do a better job.... Not joking, stay away!

REMOVE "WELL OFF MOVERS LA" FROM THE LIST OF UHAUL MOVING HELPERS AND DO NOT SELL THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES VIA THE UHAUL WEBSITE -- THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. The two professional movers I'd hired for 2 hours (which I had booked far in advance on the uhaul site, and gotten email confirmation as well as phone calls on that day from the manager and each of the two movers) DID NOT SHOW UP. Instead, someone from the company had gone to another uhaul location with migrant day laborers waiting out front and gave one of them a $20 bill to come to my apartment instead of them. This person arrived at my apartment roughly 20mins after the real movers were supposed to show up. Just one person, not two; not a professional mover; had never heard of the company "Well Off Movers LA;" and even asked me to pay him to do the move -- I had already been charged over $90 on the Uhaul website for the moving service AND rented the truck for them to load/unload. Furthermore, they had given this random person my personal phone number, full name, and home address! (not to mention, the laborer kept making somewhat racial comments to me -- kept saying "Shalom" and asking if I was from Israel... but I guess that's beside the point, given that he has NO AFFILIATION WITH THE MOVING COMPANY I HAD HIRED!)..... The manager came down himself in his Lexus, and his solution was for himself and the day laborer to do the move. This of course was an unacceptable solution. Not only, were they exploiting this poor man's labor, but these were not the professional movers I had hired. At the end of the day, Uhaul Moving help refunded me the $90 for the movers (although I was still out the cost of the truck rental which was over $60 including the furniture pads the moving company had told me to rent, the damage waiver, tax, milage, etc). At the end of the ordeal, the manager of the company instead of reimbursing me for the money they had cost me due to their fraudulent behavior, he argued that he had shown up (albeit the better part of an hour late by the time he himself got there) with two representatives of Well Off Movers LA (i.e. himself and the random migrant day laborer he had slipped a $20 bill to). This too was a lie, as the laborer cannot be considered a representative of the company, given that he had never heard of the company -- furthermore the laborer, of course, was neither a 1099 independent contractor with Well Off Movers LA, nor a W2 employee, nor does the company have I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification for said laborer (we made sure to ask when this egregiously dishonest justification for fraud was presented to us). The real issue, though, is that, while Well Off Movers LA is a different company from Uhaul, it is Uhaul who sold me their services via the Uhaul website as an add-on to my truck order, listing these people as Uhaul helpers. This is not okay.

Amazing team, painless in and out. I've never been to such a nice elegant Uhaul ever and I rent from uhauls through out the city based on my project. Thank you Med and team for your amazing energy, I actually had a fun time renting, as crazy as it may sound. We were joking and laughing, and music playing, pumped me for my move. Love you guys....
