Well I had 2 diffrent reaervations because when I meedes truck I live in guntersville was moving mom from Birmingham the first one they sent me to Birmingham had us waste a whole day plus gas then gave us a pick up order out of huntsville cost me 275 cause we were late getting truck to move them they told me they had a truck the next day sent me to another location and didnt have a truck had to go all the way across town to finally pick up a truck and was 5 hours late that day y'all said u eas gone give discount to off set cost but can't seem to get that either

Pickup appointment was at 8:30am, nobody was there, called uhaul to get in touch with manager. Manager stated that they don't actually open until 9am. The employee finally showed up at 9:10ish, slow and unsure of what he was doing. I told him that I would like the $14 insurance with my truck rental he charged me $42! This is the worst uhaul experience I've ever had!

I had two issues: (1) My pick up location was changed from what I selected during the online reservation process. This is very frustrating because there is a reason I select a specific location provided to me during the reservation process for pickup. This has happened in the past and I KNOW this can be avoided with proper logistics management (2) I had specified an Appliance Dolly in my reservation which was NOT available at my new location. I was told I could drive to another location and pick up one! Completely unacceptable and avoidable!

When I picked up my truck, the man inside the store didn’t allow me to upload the picture. I was charged 87 miles but I used only 7 miles.

give the customer a signed contract, explain all fees upfront, whoever handles the uhaul renting should be at the facility to handle the transaction instead if the customer being told to come back the next day

The guy behind the counter never came out and walked around the truck with me or anything. He gave me the key and said the truck number is on the key. I went and found it and there was mud all over it. He didn't give me any paperwork at all, the mileage, the gas level or anything. He s as I'd it would be in my email and I never got it. I had to remember where the gas level was so I could refill it. This is the second time in 2months I have rented from uhaul. The first time was excellent. This time I was disappointed.

Reserved a small trailer for rental. When I arrived I was told that they were unable to rent a trailer that day from that location. I was told that I would have to go to another location to rent a trailer. U-Haul offers a $50 money back guarantee for rentals. They did not give me $50. I had to go to a separate location and rent a trailer. I checked my credit card bill today, and noticed I was charged for both trailer rentals. Apparently, they charge me for the original reservation even though they refused to rent the trailer to me when I arrived to pick it up. I wish I could assign them negative stars. This is the second time in a row that I have attempted to rent a trailer from U-Haul and had a significant issue and ended up having to pay for the consequences. The $50 guarantee is bologna.

While it worked out, the remote personnel check out by phone and self-serve nature was initially awkward. This added to the inability to reach the u Haul location based upon contact info provided in a single text message from this location the day before my rental to confirm details was a source of anxiety since I absolutely had to move on the given day of the start of the rental.

My reservation was switched to this location, no help hooking up or verifying all was well. Would not recommend. I tow a boat so I know what to do, most people don’t.

This was the worse customer service that I’ve received in a long time. I rented the truck on Friday evening, here it is Sunday and I’m still upset about what took place. I will never be renting another uhaul if this is the service I will be getting. The representative was not informative, neither did he listen to my concerns about what was going on with my rental. That cause me to over charge for something that could’ve been avoided had he just done his job.

The rep did not speak English, he did not give a contract, or provide me with a copy of the receipt or give me a specific amount I would be charged. He never communicated with me to ask any questions. He simply took my debit card and my ID. I later checked my account and was charged more than expected. I am a very unsatisfied customer

I would not recommend this location to pay from a credit card. The owner booked my rental through phone and gave my credit card info on phone. Within 24 hours, my card details were compromised and a fraud happened. If you are paying cash, this is a good place in general.
