When a reservation is made and confirmed the truck should be available. There was not a truck available, which made me pay additional money to go to another location and get a truck, prior to removing my items from the first location The second location had a truck available, but broke down before reaching the location. They did have another truck, but it took 7 hours to get a 3.5 hour move completed.

The staff at the location was excellent. The truck had several issues. Needed maintenance, but due to our work schedule and equipment already on it we could not bring it back to exchange for another. Called the uhaul number and the rep was not sympathetic to us at all. The interior lights didn't work so we had to purchase a flashlight, the door wouldn't shut once we got the equipment loaded and had to bunge our equipment in until we got enough unleaded that we could access the back side of the door and remove the bottom rollers to let the door shut. Everytime we would come to a stop the in would jump onto tow mode and it took 20 min to fill up the gas because the filler would kick the gas pump off

My truck was returned prior to the store opening and I asked if someone would contact me regarding any additional mileage so I would know exactly how much my account would be debited. Customer service assured that a representative of the said location would contact me after checking the truck in and that never happened. I don’t like surprises when it comes to my bank account.

The lady lied about where the gas was on the meter , and even when I called to let her know before I put gas in there she told me I still need to bring it back on what she lied and said it was on

The vehicle was completely out of line and it was hard to drive the vehicle on the highway. So to prevent me wrecking, I drove through the city and it caused the mileage to be higher than normal. And of course you guys want to charge me for mileage!

Charged way more than what was told at day of departure. I am a blind consumer and was never told any of the rental agreement I was told $19.99 a day and I had the uhaul for 5 days in which one was an extra day. On the 5th day I was called and threatened for the cops to be called because I had the van an extra day I am a blind vendor who works out a local prison and had to leave before I could make my delivery to the prison. Because of the associates who work there I lost almost $300 in cash then as I started before was charged over $300 in mileage cost I was appalled by the rude associates who work at the location on Valley Ave in Birmingham Alabama I would really appreciate compensation for either the mileage charged or the product I lost due to this appalling demonstration of lack of customer service Eddie Alford 256 589 8483 ealford242000@gmail.com
