When turning my truck and blankets in I deliberately told the representative that I received only 6 packing blankets when I picked up the truck, however, the contract says 12. He proceeded to tell me that wasn't a problem. Shortly after driving off I got a credit card notification saying I was charged an additional $50. I then called the location to see what the extra charge was for. The representative stated it was for the missing blankets, even though we had a conversation in person about it and he said it was fine. Then I asked him if he could simply reimburse that faulty charge and he said he could not and to call U-Haul about it. I then had to call U-Haul and bounce around phone interactions until reaching customer service and re-explaining the situation for the third time. This was the worst U-Haul experience I have had over the last 9-years with over 4 U-Haul moves.

Excellent service; signage as to location of the U Haul Office needs to be clearer. You enter and see a gated area with U Haul vehicles and storage units. Across from this about 200-300 yards you see a building; but there is no signage indicating you should go to the building. When we did pull our truck over to the building, the only visible, obvious, helpful signage was for another business. Signage for U Haul is needed out front to tell custormers the U Haul office around the corner from the business that you see. Once we received assistance from people who were inside the gated area, we found the office.
