I had gone through the entire check in process prior to arriving. The person working at the gas station had no way to verify my reservation that I was able to provide. They insisted I scan a QR code and go through the App (the exact thing I didn’t want to do) therefore I had to take a picture of my face, front , and back of my ID all over again, in public. Then I needed to wait for verification again, the owner or manager called me said nothing helpful and hung up. It ate into 30 mins of my allotted and contracted rental time of the U-Haul van. Also when I returned the vehicle they had the same issues and asked why I had not taken photos when I left. Well, that’s because I wasn’t told to do so. It’s a poorly run location and I hate to be this person, but I’ll be leaving a public review of this experience. Totally unacceptable.

It was impossible to upload the pictures at pickup
Scott DThe online check-in process was difficult and didn't work correctly. The staff inside said customers MUST check in on a personal phone and they could not help. The process took far too long and eventually they needed to make some calls, but still they would not check us in. Nice enough staff, but terrible process. There's needs to be a way to walk up and just show a driver license.
