TWO WEEKS prior to my move, I RESERVED two 26' trucks for 11/1 at a location in Fairburn. On 12/31/25, one day before the move, I receive a call from U-Haul stating that they only have one truck available and this location and that I have to go and pick up the second truck in College Park. I was very upset, because I had reserved TWO trucks with no issues two weeks earlier. I drove to College Park to pick up the second truck in College Park, only to find out that they did not have a truck for me. At that point I was IRATE, extremely angry. They did not have any other trucks for me to use. How can this happen? Out of desperation, we waited for the U-Haul in Fairburn (the place where we ordered two trucks) to open and told him our situation. He said he had a 26' truck we could rent. We were in shock! One day earlier we were told that there would only be one at this location. The business owner was was very nice and accommodating, but the U-HAUL business practices coming from Corporate are below average. I wasted valuable time that day, and I had to pay four movers extra money to work the hours lost. I'm very disappointed with U-Haul.

This location is over ten miles away from Fairburn, GA. I was very upset, because I had reserved TWO trucks with no issues two weeks earlier. They told us we could return the U-Haul to a different location, then completely flipped the story and claimed we brought the truck back three days later than we actually did. That is a flat-out lie. I’ve rented U-Hauls for years and never had an issue until this location ,so it’s clearly just this one. I will never rent from here again. Thankfully this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this, but people need to be aware of how this place operates.
