The truck was not at the location when I arrived and the person who was there was unfamiliar with my reservation. She had to call someone else to bring the truck over. I waited over 20 minutes and then checked in on line. I was told by the person who brought the truck to me that if I returned the truck within 24 hours that I would be refunded a full days fee. When I got to my location I rushed through the move and got the truck to the return location within 24 hours. I did have to wait for quite sometime in the middle of the parking lot to get assistance. Once I tracked someone down (literally) I was informed that I would not get any money back. So the misinformation impacted my experience. In all the rush and chaos of my return, I forgot my transponder on the dash of the truck. It has been next to impossible to get a live person from a location on the phone. The customer service has been as helpful as they can be BUT they too have to ‘wait and see’ if the locations actually folllow up or decide to respond. In the meanwhile, the truck keeps moving and retrieving the item becomes more and more difficult. The truck itself was great to rent but the experience of the rental has not been the best.

Sandeep KI booked a U-Haul about a week in advance near Sheridan College. When I went to pick up the truck, they changed the location on me, which was very frustrating. Then they charged me extra mileage. After that, I was given a different pickup location, and the guy there told me it was his personal truck and that he wanted it dropped off at a different location. This was honestly very poor customer service.
