The truck's ignition didn't work properly. I had to try multiple times to get it work. The person who handed over the truck gave it to me when the engine was already running and I didn't realize the problem until I parked and tried to restart at home. The driver's seat was worn out and lost support. When I sat on it, I felt I was constantly leaning over towards the door because the seat had no support on that side. The person at the cashier refused to give me an approximate milage information. I asked repeatedly but she refused. I ended up putting in more fuel than I had to. I returned the truck with an additional 1/4th of a tank and of course, no refunds. I have spent more money than I would on gas. This is not a good way to do business, causing customers financial loss and giving them a faulty product.

Both picking up and returning the truck was smooth and quick. I have already provided the feedback while returning the truck that while refueling it, the fuel gauge mark didn't move accurately and I ended up filling up almost 7 litres more than required. The person who helped me while picking up the truck didn't explain me how the refueling can be done accurately.

Excellent experience. Only issue was they seemed to be having an issue processing credit cards on the terminal I was at. Had to move to another terminal and repeat the process. Liked how when I dropped off didn't have to go back inside and wait. They were able to complete the return on the spot.

I suggest there should be guidelines on how to re-fill the fuel tank upon returning the vehicle. I was not sure as to how much should I file to bring it to the quarter rule tank level. I had used 18 miles. I fuel it up for CAD 30, which much more than the required level. Since, there is not mechanism of excess fuel refund, therefore, it will be fair to provide guidelines based on number of miles/Kgs, like I leant that in my case as I had use 18 miles, I should have filled it up for CAD 12. This will be helpful

I found at times when I called the girls behind the desk they were rushed and really made you feel like you were inconveniencing them. I had an issue as I rented 3 times in less than a week, had on scenario where I was going to be an hour late as the weather was horrible and I thought some consideration may be taken.... I am the owner of a fire protection company in Mississauga and we were looking fo the option of renting these trucks possibly as much as a couple times a week... But nothing worse than feeling nickel and dimed by anyone and again, when I went to go and make another rental and brought up my concern... the girl behind the desk simply responded "do you still want to go ahead with this rental or am I cancelling it", showing absolutely no compassion or even making me feel like they were listening... I think you have lost a customer moving forward... Thanks and take care.

Inside the truck was clean. Staff were friendly. Major issue is the all seadon tires. We got stuck near the storage. The truck could not go further. We started shoveling after the storage owner got 2 shovels. My family had to walk very far to the actual storage. I called Roadside assistance when we realized we couldn't reverse. I ended up cancelling the roadside because my brother was able to get out. I found out after that my family had urinated on floor near tires to hrlp melt the snow. All in all we were set back about 3 hours.

I booked the Cargo Van for which the rate was $19.95 + 0.49/km; The location cheats you out when counting 49 cents per km; even though the Van has run on KM odometer; they say that it was in Mile and charge 1.7 times more. Thankfully I had driven only 20km (or Mile as UHaul claimed); it resulted me in paying $7 extra for an one hour rental of van (picked up appliances from near by Costco and returned a Van).

The bag at the back of the truck that has the moving blankets wasn't sealed and two were on the floor. I did not use them and I was worried that I was going to get charged for using them. It may be a good idea to have someone check to see if they're sealed with the customer before they leave. I think that we skipped my inspection because I got the insurance and damage wouldn't be a factor.

Tell the truth. If you do not accept visa debit let the customer know first hand before you run them through the registration process. Make sure your runners who prepare the vehicles do a proper inspection like making sure all warning and signal lights work. Tell your staff not to be rude and disrespectful when dealing with first time customers. As after this experience I will go to discount or budget rent a car. I will pay more but at least the service will be better.

The trailer hsve almost 2 ft of snow and ice. Also have a leak on the hidraulic system. Cor that we make a mess of the new driveway of our new home.

key drop box was a bit confusing. .don't see any sign. it's easy to refuel Gas if we get full tank gas at the begining.

My low rating was based on the fact that when I picked up the vehicle, the contract stated that there was 5/8 tank of gas in it. When we inspected the vehicle there was only just over 3/8 gas in it. The attendant initialed the correction on the contract. we then returned the vehicle with half a tank ( more than what was originally in it). When told that the invoice seems rather high he said it was because of the distance. When I got home and saw my emailed receipt I was charged $17.28 extra for gas. I then called and there was a small debate because the attendant did not return the contract to me or your office. I was told all I needed was the emailed receipt. Finally, when it was agreed that you owe me this refund they could not process the refund of $17.28. They would refund the full amount. then charge me the correct amount but I will now have to wait 3 to 4 business days to get my refund. Now my credit card has this rental charged twice until probably a week from now! Not a great way of doing business. There is no accountability from the vehicle attendant. Uhaul's mistake should not cost the customer 3 to 4 business days. Feeling a little cheated from this experience.

We waited for over an hour to pick up our booked truck and finally drive it off the lot. Due to cold temperatures numerous trucks would not turn on, and the one that did was buried behind a number of other vehicles. We felt that with an appointment, our truck should have been under the canopy ready for pick up, especially knowing the weather conditions.
